In which a gentleman takes the initial confusion following a major terrorist attack and transforms it into a 9-point conspiracy.

As France finds itself in the grips of martial law and its first mandatory curfew since it was occupied by the Nazis in 1944, there exists a number of questionable details surrounding the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

Only hours after the first shots were fired, stories and reports are beginning to change and contradict one another. Considering the history of the French government, French Intelligence agencies and the Anglo-American/NATO Intelligence apparatus, particularly the recent events surrounding the Charlie Hebdo attacks that were exposed as false flags, one would be justified in wondering whether or not these recent attacks in Paris were of the same variety.

Sadly theres a lot of this about.

However, just asking questions about miraculous passports which survive bombs in Paris and have a duplicate in Serbia does not mean that you are a false flag attack believer.

But it's nice to know Cameron is watching out for us all. Or just wanting to watch us.

David Cameron capitulates to terror, proposes Britain's USA Patriot Act

The UK Prime Minister has seized on the tragic deaths and injuries in Paris as an excuse to terroise Britons into allowing him to pass his Snoopers Charter, a sweeping, badly written surveillance bill that will end security research in the UK, cause Internet bills to soar, and riddle critical software with back-doors, threatening anyone who reveals these vulnerabilities, even in court, with a year in prison.

It's a disgusting, cynical move that uses innocents' blood as the missing ingredient for achieving policy goals that could not be attained through democratic debate. Just as the Patriot Act's hasty, ill-considered provisions were rammed through in the smoke of the World Trade Center, Cameron would trump evidence, expert advice and good sense with partisan grandstanding.

An interview recalling what Daesh really is and how it relates to the 13/11 attaques :

Political author Gearóid Ó Colmáin discusses the Paris attacks with RT International

Right, it is a creation from western and Gulf intelligence services, to break Syria, Iraq and any dissident Arab countries, and the true main conspiracy is that the policy led by these countries led to the 13/11 Paris attacks.

In fact, alternative researchers (i.e., in newspeech, 'conspiracists') had predicted four years ago exactely how things would happen, how Islamists would be used to spread havoc and destruction, then how Daesh would rise and be presented as a main source of terrorism in Western Europe, providing justification for more surveillance and security state.

Relating to the Paris attacks themselves, there is more evidence that the French services may have turned a blind eye surfacing, I am presently compiling it.

This is extremely-coincidental.

The pre-incident timing, the interview scope, and the future relevance of the comments (not missing the irony, if that's what is being expressed by band member, Josh Homme, because: I'm not sure if I'd understand precisely what this band's 'clever prose and silly irreverence' was/is intended to convey...either with or without Bataclan).

I now want to be told that this is nothing more or less than chance, hindsight framing in the rear-view mirror. And that the interview comments made by EODM back in September are no different from those that might've been made by any other band occupying that highly-competitive and popular genre segment of political/musicological satire.

‘So Zipper Down is the Eagles of Death Metal response to terrorism?’ ‘Yeah.’

"TWO months before the tragedy that unfolded one hour into their Paris concert, Eagles of Death Metal made a flippant joke to Rolling Stone that will now send shivers down your spine.

Their latest album Zipper Down had ended a seven-year hiatus for the American rockers, known for their clever prose and silly irreverence.

“We realize that our lack of putting out a record, that absence of Eagles of Death Metal music, had a really negative byproduct. There were all sorts of Middle East troubles and all these other things, so we’re sorry for that,” member Josh Homme said in the September 17 article.

“So essentially Zipper Down is the Eagles of Death Metal response to terrorism?” Rolling Stone journalist Johnathan Dick asked.

“Yeah. We put out a record and human rights are better, the world feels better, people make more money, there’s less anger, people are more respectful to women and to homosexuals, and they’re generally nicer each other, they’re kinder to each other, and that’s why we really felt like it was time to let the healing begin,” Homme replied.

It was a troubling presage to the unfortunate and unexplained targeting that would see more than 100 of their fans gunned down before them in an apparent terrorism attack.

The group was performing on stage when the gunshots began. Michael Dorio, brother of drummer Julian Dorio, reportedly told CNN the band “stopped playing, hit the deck, and went backstage and exited as fast as they could.”

While the band has been thrust into the world agenda in the most horrifying of circumstances, Eagles of Death Metal have been around for a while — coming together in 1998 and releasing their debut album in 2004.

The sold-out show was part of the Eagles of Death Metal European tour, showcasing the new album.
Despite what the name might suggest, the band is not a tribute to The Eagles going death metal.

They are instead a tribute to straight up rock’n’roll with a comical tinge and a scattering of sexual innuendo — rather than death metal or heavy metal.

Fans around the world held their breath as Eagles of Death Metal posted this message to Facebook shortly after the attack: “We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.

If they had been talking about anywhere else I would have found it odd. However "peace in the middle east" is such a cliche, so it seems unsurprising to use that as an example.

I don't think it's especially coincidental. Terrorism has been the number one story for the past year or so and the US media, in particular, is obsessed with it. It's unsurprising that it came up in the course of what was probably a fairly wide-ranging interview.

There is nothing "unexplained" about the targeting of the concert, which was aimed at the venue not the band. The Bataclan has previously been the target of Islamist threats on the basis that it is Jewish-owned. There is footage of masked men threatening it in the past.

I do think people need to stop looking for conspiraces everywhere. Islamic terrorists have been attempting mass casualty attacks in the West for years. ISIS have been quite open of their intention to send operatives to Europe via the migrant route. The fact that both of these things have happened here should come as no surprise to anyone.

On Europe 1 on monday 16 november, journalist Geraldine Woessner mentioned the existence of an Associated Press release relating a warning from the Iraqi secret services prior to the attacks, giving a quite precise description of the kind of attacks that would take place, and did not understand why the french services had not reacted appropriately. Various mentions have emerged of such a note from the Iraqis, first from Debka :

Iraqi intelligence warned of ISIS assault before Paris attack
DEBKAfile November 15, 2015, 11:23 PM (IDT)
Senior Iraqi intelligence officials warned coalition countries of imminent ISIS assaults just one day before last week's deadly attacks in Paris. They forwarded to the US, UK and France a dispatch saying the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, had ordered an attack on coalition countries fighting against them in Iraq and Syria, as well as on Iran and Russia. He specified that the attacks should come,"through bombings or assassinations or hostage taking in the coming days." The Iraqis had no specific information on when or where the assault would take place.

Not very precise (although the kinds of assaults were right), but it appears that AP had given many more details :

Iraq warned France of terror strike the day before Paris attacks

Iraqi intelligence warned that ISIS is planning attacks in Western countries, particularly France.

By Matt Wanderman

Iraqi intelligence services sent a message to the various countries making up the US-led coalition against ISIS last Thursday, warning that the jihadist group intends to carry out attacks on their home soil.

The next day the warnings came true, as Paris was hit by its deadliest attack since World War II.

Associated Press reports that according to the Iraqi dispatch, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, had ordered "bombings or assassinations or hostage taking in the coming days," against coalition countries, as well as Iran and Russia.

French security officials have not denied that they received a warning, but explained that they get similar messages "all the time."

However, four senior Iraqi intelligence officials said that they specifically warned France of the danger. The Associated Press said that two of these officials informed France that the an attack had been planned in the Syrian city of Raqqa, ISIS's effective capital, and that the attackers then traveled to France and received assistance from a local sleeper cell.

On the same topic, detailing that the note mentionned 24 attackers ; also, reporting another precise warnng to the French security services, this time from the Turks :

France Reportedly Received Warnings About at Least One of the Paris Attackers

By Jeremy Stahl

French officials received multiple warnings about Paris attacker Omar Ismail Mostefai before Friday’s terror attack but Turkey didn’t get a response from French authorities until after the attack, a Turkish official said on Monday.

“On Oct. 10, 2014, Turkey received an information request regarding four terror suspects from the French authorities,” a Turkish official told the New York Times. “During the official investigation, the Turkish authorities identified a fifth individual, Omar Ismail Mostefai, and notified their French counterparts twice—in December 2014 and June 2015.”

Mashable also quoted a senior Turkish official as saying that Mostefai, the first gunman identified in the attack, was known to security officials and that France never followed up on shared information until after the attack took place.

"This is not a time to play the blame game, but we are compelled to share the information to shed light on Omar Ismail Mostefai's travel history," the senior official told Mashable. "The case of Omar Ismail Mostefai clearly establishes that intelligence sharing and effective communication are crucial to counter-terrorism efforts. The Turkish government expects closer cooperation from its allies in the future."

The Associated Press reported a more general warning had been given to coalition countries by senior Iraqi intelligence officials the day before the attack. The warnings were vague, though four Iraqi intelligence officials told the AP that they warned France specifically of an attack and two said they warned France beforehand about details French authorities hadn’t yet made public, including that the planning for the attack occurred in ISIS’s de facto capital of Raqqa, Syria. The officials also said a sleeper cell in France helped the attackers execute the plan after they arrived and the operation included 24 people—19 attackers and five working on planning and logistics.

Maybe someone at ISIS has just taken a real irrational dislike to EODM. Hell, I know I do that with some bands but the difference is I am not minded to take out my anger on them by means of terrorist atrocities. I prefer hiding their CDs in HMV...

Anyway, the plot thickens following last night's, seemingly at least half-Fundamentalist inspired, attack in San Bernardino. Check out these lyrics in EODM's track "San Burdoo Sunburn":

"Yes we're freaks but they can't touch us out west in San Bernardino"

Seems odd for a terrorist to target their own workplace though. Unless it had some specific safety measures that had to be bypassed, and it doesn't sound like that kind of place.

Seems to me like an ill-disciplined terrorist who was likely tasked with/planning something bigger but got irritated by something at work and – metaphorically – killed two birds with one stone.

Exactly. A lot of planning had clearly gone into this. It wasn't simply a case of someone with a gun flipping out a la Michael Douglas in Falling Down.

Press don't seem to agree. Pretty much every headline is 'Mystery over motive'...

Guess we'll never know why the Muslim couple, who had recently been to the Middle East, had easy and fast access to assault weapons, pipe bombs and explosives, used them in a "military manner", were wearing GoPros to film and likely share footage of their attack and would, in all likelihood, have seen the same reports everyone else has seen of Islamic State encouraging followers living in the West to carry out attacks against infidels, attacked a Christmas party. Sure is a brain teaser...

Most likely a co-worker said something obnoxious to him. Generic gun crime.

*I jest, but only a little...

It is, isn't it. I doubt that Sherlock Holmes could solve this one. Absolutely inexplicable.

Does seem to walk & talk like a duck but why didn't they go for a more high profile target? Possible that they were on a short fuse and were triggered into premature action by a comment at the work party. Maybe evidence of other intended targets will emerge.

The plot thickens indeed.

One of the first oddities to dissect. Please: feel entirely free to rationalise/debunk/defuse. But avoid spluttering vague offended refutations.

This one should be very easy to rationalise. Left side, as viewed, the twentysomething glasses guy, a couple up from the bottom.

Just a standard six-fingered fellow (not impossibly, just implausibly) or, how do we alternatively read this?

I'm ready and happy to be told this is just a perspective illusion, or similar effect. Is it? And if so, how?

Yep, I agree.

MSNBC just doxed Rafia Farook, mother of a terrorist, on live television. I've blurred the important bits.

How was this allowed to happen? Why wasn't the apartment sealed off?

I also don't see a six-fingered hand in that photo. The only thing odd for me is how flat the photo looks, but I imagine lighting can easily do that.

Looks more like he's gripping something in that hand and a bit of it is sticking out of the two clenched fingers. Maybe a red/purple coloured hanky.

Why do you think no 3 is a finger?
Perhaps it's not a forward-pointing finger....the hankie suggestion, if it's not a finger, is as good as any

Is Number 6 actually a pinkie?

And, without pointing any fingers, here's another...hanky/hot-dog/finger/artifact

3 is just a fleshy part of the guys hand and shadowing...

I wonder what is so peculiar about there being photos from a rock concert. They have whole photographer sections at the front of the stage between the performer and fans. It is the most normal thing ever for a gig to have produced photos like this.

I don't really understand what is being implicated. This photo is fake because? And it had been faked for what reason?
