Why Do UFOs Spin?

Here's an idea I haven't seen before - maybe they spin in order to rapidly scan the surface, like a cluster-bomb skeet munition.

The skeet rotates as it falls, looking for IR hotspots and raised segments of the landscape that might be vehicles. This rotation doesn't really allow the skeet to fly, however.

Hmm, they could be good for taking out tractors as well.

it seems that the UFO is partly alive, ie the pilot and the flying machine become one.

the UFO receives coordinates of space, time and consciousness, that is, the point of reality experienced by those who must be kidnapped (for example).

these coordinates are collected by probes, often of military origin (military and aliens work together for a common project).

when the UFO has the destination data it starts to vibrate, it becomes light and appears at the point of arrival instantly, just having the correct data. the whole thing works at low energy, trivial electricity probably and the light seems to be the basis for this teleportation.

it is as if the UFO perceives the destination and its structure becomes compatible to exist only in the destination.

There are scientific theories that explain this phenomenon, like Bohm's holographic universe. where there are no distances and time does not exist, everything happens in a single moment.

if aliens know this fine reality of the universe they can go anywhere in an instant with technology because in reality nobody really moves, because the universe would be condensed into a small infinitesimal point.

From an old Zen Buddhist story....a monk and his master were walking on a bridge over a small river and the monk said
'how beautiful the flowing water was'. The Master said 'it is not the water that is moving but your mind'.

Perhaps we only perceive these things we sometimes call ufos as spinning but in truth they may represent something else entirely.

Well that's cleared that up then.

I was more thinking the monk yelling to the master: "Don't worry, that waterfall at the end is just in your mind!"

however I do not believe that a flying machine needs to rotate (at least the real UFOs).

The real ones, if visible, are visible because the aliens make mistakes, wrong coordinates probably, they want to remain hidden. if the data on their functioning are correct they do not need to rotate.

but they all have a very marked symmetry plan regardless of the basic form, but the reason why I do not know this.

If they added a Teasmade it would be an almost perfect form of transport. Unless that’s what makes them crash.

Well, there are errors, even in the alienological field. in New Mexico in 47 the crashed UFOs were 2.

Apparently both flying objects found themselves in the same place of space, time and consciousness, probably they had received the same coordinates and they appeared in the same point, this made them fall into violent way.

different case of Rendlesham Forest incident, in this case the aircraft sighted by the English was an automatic probe of military origin that had a malfunction that forced the machinery to land.

Apparently. What are the odds?

I would say extremely low, but not impossible

UFOs DO NOT SPIN. The emanation of spiral radiation from the saucers gives the illusion of spinning. The upper or positive polarity of a saucer radiates emanations outwardly from the center. Due to the collection and the concentration of light particles through a vortice tunnel in the center unseen, these light emanation radiating outward appear as grooves on a phonograph record. The lower negative polarity operates in a reverse manner. This light substance emanation is contained within a field of zero circumference which is void giving, the impression of an edge.
A spectroscopic camera will reveal a saucer only as light in the spectrum, plus elements in the atmosphere.

The term ‘Saucer’ originally described their movement (like a thrown saucer skipping across water), not their shape, which was described crescent-like and flat. It’s likely Arnold saw a flock of white birds picking up the sunlight. The press leapt on Saucer and the term stuck.

Birds are not known for spinning.

Discs are only aerodynamically stable if they are spinning. So it makes sense that a disc-shaped flying object would be rotating. Of course, Ray Harryhausen may have had something to do with implanting the idea in the popular consciousness:

Looks like all the saucer is spinning but the top central dome, could be just my eyes tho

We all know that ufos...even spinning ones...are simply figments of our imagination....so .....

So we must be spinning ourselves?

Spinning ourselves silly talking about spinning ufos.......
;)

All this raises an interesting question:

When was rotation / spinning first claimed for a UFO observed in the field?

In other words, did the spinning attribution begin with a field observation, or did it arise from (e.g.) Hollywood visual glossing?

Some background on the term flying saucer :

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the idea of spinning came out of saucer films.
But the whole idea of saucers itself is strange...at least to me. Is that the only form an alien craft might take?
Why has it become so popular? And there have been many types of saucers reported over the decades. So are we being visited by dozens of alien species or do they just like to change their saucers like we do car designs?
Interestingly the shape and look of many ufos has changed over time ( for a while people were seeing triangles and other geometric forms) . Is that due to different aliens or is this somehow connected to human perceptions and consciousness?
What are we actually experiencing?

The only thing that goes round in circles is the retelling of UFO lore. I’m beginning to lose count of those UFO programmes that mention Area 51 and Rendlesham etc in the same show.

Anything is possible and this idea or one very much like it has been proposed by Dr Vallee many years ago.
I assume you are familiar with his books?
