Weird IHTM Tales From Reddit & Other Sites

Saw this on my Twitter. Don't know what it is. I first read it as weird fiction :)

Then I saw that it's some … well … I don't really know what:

This new, full-length standalone session focuses on training Bambi to be a ditzy, vacuous, superficial platinum blonde, locking in all the mannerisms, speech and thought patterns, interests, personality and lifestyle changes that come with that.

This is an expert-level session. You should slip into deep trance easily and automatically by now. If not, you might want to use Blank Mindless Doll or some Enforcement tracks before the salon induction. Also, you really want high-quality headphones to get the most out of this one.

I guess this is some kind of art project ...

Strangest thing ever. Seems to be used by men who want to be sissyfied.

Tons of great stuff in there. Thanks!

After reading a fair bit of it, usually linked from here, I've taken to reading the stories and skipping all the attempts to find some "rational" explanation. Those are often silly, desperate attempts to make up some piffle to keep from having to worry about stuff like that actually happening. Of course some of the stories are "literature" but I'm sure some are real. At any rate, it makes for fascinating reading.

I've been reading these in bed before going to sleep, it's a cracking collection.

Damn it, Scargy, I was on a roll working from home today, and then the Medic distracted me with houses online. This will not help!

Brilliant list! Very useful to have them neatly categorised. Many thanks.

Great list - some of those were genuinely creepy/disturbing. Thanks for posting!!

Thanks. Timeslips are are favorite, that and ghosts (which may well be timeslips).

Thanks Gerda - obviously not the list that I made but the one I did go through :)

What I find the most fascinating are the stories of doppelgangers, weird places and lives lived in dreams :)
Hope people enjoy the stories as much as I did - at least it helps getting through the day(s) - cheers

Just read the non existent tearoom seen by a couple honeymooning in Ilfracombe in the 1950s. My parents honeymooned there also in the 50s. So that one particularly creeped me out. Brilliant compilation. Will be working my way through these.

I've been spending my quarantine days reading through these threads. There are some doozies but the scariest by far for me was the one about the wheel

It's this one, Escargot! So creepy and fascinating!
That was really interesting. Thanks for posting the link! It reminds me quite a bit of a fairly recent book, "Application of Impossible Things" by Natalie Sudman. She was nearly killed by an explosion in Iraq, and has some fascinating things to tell about her NDE. I read a fairly lengthy article about it somewhere, and then bought the book. The book is pretty tough sledding but the story is very interesting. If I can find the article I'll post a link since it seems sufficient and it's free. Here's a link to the book.

So anyway, neither of these stories conflicts with my current understanding of Life, the Universe, and Everything. I believe we humans are learning the nature of our reality through things like the Matrix movies, books like The Secret, quantum physics, and so on. It's all familiar territory for us fans of Seth, the entity channeled by Jane Roberts fifty years ago. I recommend those books to anyone who is curious about this sort of thing. They are very useful to a lot of us. Other people regard them as nonsense. Your mileage will vary.

Thanks for the NDE book recommendation, I'll download it later! I bought a bunch of the Seth books a few months ago too-- very interesting stuff.

This sounds like a really fascinating book, and I am extremely tempted to order it myself.

After reading your post, I decided to explore the site and I listened to several recordings on offer there. What can I say! I initially thought it was very tongue in cheek or (like you suggested) an art project but it seems to be a genuine hypnosis technique designed to transform the listener into a bona fide living Bambi doll! ...........Life would be extremely boring if we were all the same I guess!
