A man caught on surveillance video is suspected of stealing cat blood from a veterinary clinic in Florida, sheriff’s officials said.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office posted pictures showing the man who walked up to the door of the Anastasia Cat Clinic on Sept. 17.

The man was seen touching and inspecting an Antech Diagnostics blood box before leaving the area, sheriff’s officials said. About 20 minutes later, a truck seen in the parking area and a man wearing the same clothing walked up to the clinic and took the box. The box contained four vials of cat blood, the report said. ...

Bible-basher Tased, shits himself, arrested.

A burglary suspect hit a cop in the face with a Bible, an attack that led to his tasing and arrest on multiple criminal charges, according to a Florida police report.

Robert Otis Hoskins, the alleged Bible thumper, was collared Tuesday afternoon following a confrontation at a residence in Summerfield, an Ocala suburb.

Charged with burglary, larceny, resisting, battery on a law enforcement officer, and criminal mischief, Hoskins, 39, is being held in the Marion County jail in lieu of $13,000 bond.

Police responding to a 911 call about a burglary encountered Hoskins--who was only wearing a pair of gray briefs--outside his residence, next door to the burglarized property. As a deputy sought to question Hoskins, he began shouting at the cop as he approached with a book in his right hand.

Hoskins then wound up and threw the Good Book at the officer, who was struck in the face and jaw by the volume.

Hoskins was subsequently tased and taken into custody following a brief struggle.

According to an arrest report, Hoskins’s wife told deputies that he “does have a drug problem.”

After defecating on himself at the crime scene, he unsuccessfully tried to bolt from officers upon arrival at the county jail.

Lesbian lovers allegedly killed, dismembered man to steal inheritance

A pair of Portuguese lesbian lovers inspired by the Showtime serial killer TV series “Dexter” allegedly killed and hacked up a man, chopping off his fingers to access his bank account and steal a more than $77,000 inheritance.

Maria Malveiro, 19, and her girlfriend Mariana Fonseca, 23, a nurse, are accused of murdering Diogo Goncalves, a 21-year-old hotel worker, in Portugal earlier this year.

Investigators say Goncalves was strangled on March 18 and the two women allegedly cut off his fingers to gain access to his bank account from his cellphone, using his prints to swipe the cash.

The women allegedly dismembered Goncalves and kept his head, forearms, hands and feet for five days after murdering him and tossing his torso into the sea.

They later threw the rest of his body parts into the sea from cliffs in the Algarve town of Sagres, the report said.

Local media reported that the gruesome crime happened after Malveiro seduced Goncalves. She allegedly took advantage of the fact that Goncalves was attracted to her in order to give him an orange juice laced with a sedative after promising him a lap dance at his home, reports said.

An indictment charges that the women spent three days between March 20 and 23 sending messages from Goncalves’ Facebook account to trick colleagues and friends into believing he was still alive

Machete-wielding man scrawls ‘satanic’ messages on Nth. Carolina sorority house

A man armed with a machete painted “satanic messages” in his own blood on a North Carolina sorority house Sunday night, police say.

An officer with the East Carolina University Police Department was patrolling the area near East 5th and Meade streets in Greenville on Sunday night when he was flagged down by a group concerned about the “behavior” of a man nearby who was bleeding from his arms and hands on Monday night.

Police found the machete-wielding man “in distress” shortly after, disarmed him and “deescalated” the situation, they said.

The 25-year-old had cut himself on his arms and hands and used his blood to write “what has been interpreted as satanic messages or verbiage” on the Alpha Delta Pi sorority house and a car parked nearby.

No one in the house was harmed, police tweeted earlier Monday. Officials believe the suspect used only his own blood to write the messages.

The suspect was treated for his cuts, police say, and no officers were injured. He’s being held in the Pitt County Detention Center and faces charges for injury to real property, [police] say. Additional charges are possible.

The suspect isn’t believed to be a student, and his motivation is unclear.

But lawyers for Takahiro Shiraishi, 29, argued the charges should be reduced because the victims - who had expressed suicidal thoughts - gave their consent to be killed.

Shiraishi, who is also accused of dismembering his victims and storing body parts in coolboxes, did not contest nine counts of murder, saying they "are all correct", public broadcaster NHK reported.

He is also facing rape charges, according to media reports.

Shiraishi is accused of using Twitter to contact victims aged between 15 and 26 who posted online about taking their own lives, telling them he could help them in their plans - or even die alongside them.

If convicted of murder, Shiraishi faces the death penalty, which is carried out by hanging in Japan.

But his lawyers want the charges against him reduced to "murder with consent", which carries a prison sentence of between six months and seven years.

Shiraishi was detained three years ago by police investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman who had reportedly tweeted about wanting to kill herself.

After she went missing, her brother apparently gained access to her Twitter account, and noticed a suspicious handle.

Police uncovered a grisly house of horrors behind Shiraishi's front door on the morning of Halloween in 2017.

Nine dismembered bodies, with as many as 240 bone parts stashed in coolers and toolboxes, had been sprinkled with cat litter in a bid to hide the evidence.

So many different scary angles on this story. If someone is suicidal, are they of sound mind to give consent? The victims are certainly not able to give their sides of their stories.

I am not making any statement about someone's right to die as allowed in some countries, but that his lawyers are making this argument to get him a lesser sentence.

A man dressed as a gorilla and wielding a machete was arrested Friday after North Dakota police say he made threats against people in an apartment building.

Fargo police arrived at an apartment building around 12:30 a.m. after reports that shots had been fired, KVLY reported.

Officers were also told that there was a man on the property dressed in a gorilla suit and carrying a machete, Fargo police said in a news release.

When police spoke with witnesses, they learned that the supposed gunshots were actually large fireworks and that the man in the gorilla suit had threatened people inside the apartment building and said he planned to blow it up.

Two people were charged with murder after forcing a girl to jump on a trampoline as punishment, police say

Two people in Texas have been charged with capital murder after forcing an 8-year-old girl to jump on a trampoline under extreme heat as punishment, police said.

The girl died of dehydration on August 29, Odessa Police said in a news release.

Daniel Schwarz, 44, and Ashley Schwarz, 34, were charged and arrested on Monday and booked into the Ector County Detention Center, according to police. Their bonds have been set at $500,000 each ...

In the news release police did not say what the Schwarzes' relationship is to each other or to the girl. Family members said they were the girl's guardians, CNN affiliate KOSA reported.

An investigation found that the two required the girl to jump on the trampoline "without stopping for an extended period of time," and didn't allow her to eat breakfast or drink water ...

Police said that the temperature of the trampoline was read to be about 110 degrees Fahrenheit, while the ground was about 150 degrees. ...

A Danish man convicted of torturing and murdering a Swedish journaliston on his home-made submarine escaped the suburban Copenhagen jail where he is serving a life sentence but was recaptured nearby on Tuesday.

The Ekstra Bladet tabloid posted a video of Peter Madsen sitting in the grass with his hands behind his back and police at distance. Police confirmed on Twitter that Madsen had been “arrested and removed from the scene” after being surrounded by police officers, with unconfirmed reports he had threatened them with an explosive device.

Madsen reportedly took a hostage and threatened prison staff with a pistol-like object to force his way out of the facility. It quoted witnesses who said he managed to drive away in a white van before police stopped him. ...

A Florida man is accused of using a 24-cent packet of Kool-Aid to rack up nearly $1,000 in fraudulent charges at a Walmart in North Naples.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office arrested Bradley Young, 37, on charges of grand theft and shoplifting.

Deputies said Young scanned merchandise at the Walmart with the Kool-Aid packet hidden in his hand. Each item rang up for 24 cents. The final bill ended up being just under $25. The goodies were really worth $994.13, the sheriff's office said. ...

Naked teen covered in ranch dressing crashes at Kansas gas station, sheriff says

“A 17-year-old male was naked and under the influence of a substance,” the sheriff’s office said. “He covered himself in ranch dressing, damaged property inside a business, ran outside and jumped into a running vehicle, and then crashed into a nearby pillar.”

Deputies took the boy into custody. He was then taken to a local hospital and later released to his parents.

“The criminal aspects of this incident are under investigation,” the sheriff’s office said. “We are happy to report that no one was injured during this incident.”

  • Outraging public decency with gross injury
  • Possession of controlled/dangerous substance.
Sheriff Derryberry said on the afternoon of October 14, a person was dropped off at the McAlester Hospital who had a crude surgical procedure done. “Evidently it was not done by professionals,” said Derryberry.

The following day, the hospital called the sheriff and gave him the names of two suspects and an address.

On the same day, around 6 p.m., law enforcement went to the 21-acre mountainous property prepared to serve search warrants, but both suspects had left to go to the hospital to check on the victim.

McAlester police detained the men and said they found evidence of criminal activity and drugs.

Sheriff Derryberry confirmed, “a man’s penis was cut off, and the victim was a willing participant in the dismemberment.”

Gates also has pending charges, including negligent homicide, out of Pushmataha County, located in southeast Oklahoma.

Both men are in the LeFlore County Detention Center and held on a $295,000 bond.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is helping in the investigation with electronic data from hard drives that need to be sent to forensics.

It’s possible the hard drives recovered from the crime scene could show there are more victims, according to the Sheriff.

For now, the victim will not be charged with any crime, according to Sheriff Derryberry.

Documents filed Wednesday by the LeFlore County District Attorney’s office accuse Bob Lee Allen, 53, and Thomas Evans Gates, 42, of performing a surgery to remove a man’s testicles and asking him to eat them at their residence in Wister, Oklahoma.

The man also told medical personnel that Allen and Gates “tried to get him to participate in cannibalism,” the affidavit states.

He told investigators he came into contact with Allen on a website called [Link removed, but available at website below if you really want it...] that he came across while researching castrations, the affidavit states. The website name is short for EunuchMaker and states it is “for everybody into mods and kinks for all kinds.”

The man told investigators Allen “informed him that he had 15 years of experience and that he videos the procedures for personal use,” the affidavit states.

Investigators wrote the man said he flew into the Dallas/Forth Worth airport on Oct. 11 and Allen drove them to the Wister residence.

The man said Allen got him to get on “a makeshift table that was covered in gowns” on Oct. 12 before injecting him with novocaine or lidocaine, the affidavit states.

Court documents state the man was awake for the two-hour surgery conducted by Allen with Gates handing over medical equipment.

Allen told the man after the surgery that he was going to consume the parts, the affidavit states.

The affidavit alleges Allen told the man about previously performing a surgery on someone that that he left to die; “he had a freezer with body parts,” and six more clients were set to have the same operation.
