Germans using a US M3 half-track, painted in anachronistic early war German dunkelgrau.
German soldiers wearing uniforms in modern MultiCam.
A poster depicting WW2 US soldiers armed with 1960s-era M16 rifles, and accompanied by a 1960s-era Sheridan tank.

I don't think I'll bother, ta.

Plastic Paddy Oirish-American Michael Flatley's vanity project "Blackbird" will finally be unleashed into cinemas this September.
There was a private screening for cast, crew and a few close friends back in 2018,to which no journalists or movie critics were invited.
All has been quiet until now and, as Wikipedia puts it "fuelling speculation about the film's quality."
Flatly funded the project, wrote the script, produced and directed it, as well as starring as a thinly-disguised (and apparently unironic) James Bond character.

Sounds absolutely cringeworthy, but may be worth a look for unintended comedy value as Flatley tap-dances around those enemy bullets.

He'll dance on your grave for that!
The joke's on Flatly, people will conga line across his grave!

One of my (not) guilty pleasures, 1986's STREET TRASH deals with the homeless alcoholics being sold liquor that causes them to melt down in colourful and gory ways .. one of the highlights sees them all throwing a hobo's penis around for fun that's fallen off :) .. and surprisingly, I don't think it was made by TROMA of TOXIC AVENGER fame .. that one's another 80's sick classic ..

Mark Kermode has seen it - "This is not cinema"

It has had a few mentions on this thread already but I watched Birdemic last night on the recommendation of a student who likes bad films. And what a bad film it was! Spectacularly, amazingly, perfectly bad. The overly long shots, the stilted conversations, the terrible sound, the awful dialogue. And I haven't even mentioned the special effects. And the sound effects. Hilarious. And by all accounts meant to be serious too. I intend to watch Birdemic 2 which is supposed to be even worse but I need a rest first.

Thor : Love and Thunder is the worst.

I am struggling to watch the movie but can only get half way through the movie.

Still, world wide this movie made almost a billion dollars, why ?

The dialogue is horrible among other things.
It's in my watch list - are you saying it is not worth £9.99 ?

I couldn't get on with it overall. There were bits I liked and everyone seemed to be having fun, but the tonal confusion, poor dialogue and jokes that didn't land kept ejecting me from the movie. I'll watch it again. I didn't really like the first Guardians of the Galaxy in the first couple of watch throughs, and I still feel I have to make allowances when I see it.

My tuppence ha'penny's worth:

Thor: Love and Thunder: Another fun epic with some dark bits, but Thor (Chris Helmsworth) is so vain and conceited you'll always laugh. We even get an Assembly of the Gods (a bit like the SW Galactic Senate) in Omnipotence City where Zeus (Russell Crowe) rules the roost, The dark stuff come from Gor (Christian Bale) The God Butcher who is determined to off as many Gods as possible, he has some justification though. Also on the gloomy side is Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), she has terminal cancer but then is attracted by Mjolni which reconstructs itself and transforms her into a female Mighty Thor. We also get the Guardians of the Galaxy who help Thor (Helmswoth) deal with some fall out from Gor's activities. Great battles and skirmishes, Thor even gets a pair of giant goats to help him along with Korg (Taika Waititi) as his sidekick. A wonderfully imagined New Asgard on Earth (which has become a visitor attraction) comes under attack from Gor and his Shadow Realm monsters. This film is a fun epic adventure and doesn't over stay it's welcome with a 119 minute running time. Directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the script with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. 8/10

Even The Guardian, that usually adores all things Oirish, thought it was utterly ghastly - like an 80s porno movie but without the sex.

The reviewer states that watching it was so cringingly dreadful that "I had to lie down on the floor while a team of paramedics gave me oxygen."

So, with regard to the Worst Movie EVER, I think we may have an unassailable winner.
