Worst Movie EVER?

I'm not a big film buff. I often enjoy them when I see them, but I seldom choose to watch one.

However, I have only once ever walked out of a cinema because the film was unwatchable: Woody Allen's Stardust Memories. I managed to watch about 20 minutes of unrelenting tosh and I'd had enough. Even my then wife (Mrs Mikefule 1.0) agreed.

Only film I've ever walked out of was also a Woody Allen. Very little of any value from him after 1975, Love and Death.

I walked out of Harrison Ford's frantic because it just seemed to be him looking stern and running down streets from memory. Perhaps I was too young to appreciate it at the time and was instead expecting to see Indiana Jones or Han Solo type action?.

Love that film!

Saw it at the London Film Festival. Half the audience walked out.
Once upon a time, I chose a film at random to watch in a cinema, just off Regent Street.
It was Meet The Feebles.
I thought it was hilarious - an x-rated Muppet movie!
Many of the audience left early through that showing ... but I stayed to watch it through. Then, another day, went back with some like-minded chums and enjoyed watching it then ... as well as the other members of the audience leg it!
I still treasure my VHS copy of this movie. :)

I am deffo not a fan of Woody Allen's films.
I'm amazed that he was able to stretch out his career as long as he has.

I think he relied on past successes to prop up his later career.
To me, it became pretentious verbage but to others it might be "you just don't understand it's subtlety."

Aaargh. I hate films that are billed as fantasy but actually aren't, they're psychological drama, which ain't my genre. I just watched I Kill Giants. It was even tagged as a fantasy film. It ain't. Aaaaargh again. Dishonest.

Neil Breen may have surpassed himself here:

Is there really such a thing as a "so bad it's good" movie?

Personally I doubt it.
Apart from a brief couple of minutes of novelty value, when first watching something as cringeworthy and inept as a Breen movie, I certainly wouldn't have the inclination or stamina to watch the entire 100 minutes.

Yes, there is such a thing as a "so bad it's good" movie - any movie that is so badly made, it provides entertainment.

"So bad it's good" movies are few on the ground for me. Mainly they're ones I've not watched for a while so wonder if they really were that lousy as I remembered.

Simon Burchell, you are in luck. There is a new law proposed in California against dishonest trailers. So if your trailer contains scenes or people not in the movie, you could be in trouble.

Unfortunately, there are giants in the film - but:

only the disturbed brat can see them, because they are an imaginary manifestation of her trauma.

Ah, but how they are in the movie is the point.
Wasn't that a thing with a recent Batman movie, where the Joker appears in the trailer but in the film, he was in the last few seconds of the film?

But the monsters were real to the girl, have to admit that I enjoyed the film.

Real to the girl! Aaaaargh! She was batshit crazy, might as well say the hallucinations in Black Swan were real to whatserface. No, no, no, not going to rant... I'm storming off to sulk in a corner...

I've always had that impression of James' Turn of The Screw.
If you accept that there's no supernatural entities involved, then the whole story is about the governess descent into madness after obsessing over her charges. Both Quint and Miss Jessel (deceased) were adored by the children and the governess is jealous of this.

How about “Rat Race” from 2001-??? when a film has - from the start “ amusing” animations of the cast, and a really crap song - you know you’re in for a desperately baaaad time... from Roman Atikinson’s absolutely bollocks “Italian” racially insulting “accent” - jeez he makes the Dolmio adverts seem like Shakespeare- to Cleese chewing up the scenery as basically Basil Fawlty with horse sized false teeth, and as for the two F*ckwit Brothers- well less said the better- I mean the cow body slamming - really? And the donated heart episode ... ‘kin hell !,,

It seems stitched together in a way that had the “ writers” presenting totally unrelated segments, and the actors- some good ones, tbh seemingly doing it as if they had a spare few days in between real roles....

It’s dire... and yet, and yet - you still watch it- to the bitter end, in the hope - forlorn- that it might, just might not be as crap, as it really appears....but reassuringly, your judgement is correct...and your “shiteometer”” works just fine...!

I was reminded of Training Day which, for an Oscar-winning movie, is rather dire. I kept watching expecting some kind of plot twist. At first you think Denzel Washington's character is an over the top corrupt narcotics officer, only to realise at the end that he is in fact an over the top corrupt narcotics officer. In between you get such sparkling dialogue as "My nigga" and "Fuck them bitches".

Blimey .. The Evil Dead fan community first became aware that a porno comedy of The Evil Dead called 'EVIL HEAD' had been made in 2016. One of our mods even did a review of it. It's comedy mixed with gang bangs in demon makeups, I've just watched it! .. I'm obviously not going to post the link to a porno here but I will post the link to the review ..

edit: I've just found the almost safe for work teaser trailer on Youtube

There's nothing they won't pornify. But rotting corpses bumping groins does not strike me as the most arousing concept.
