That video looks well fake to me. The black “ABC” image is sharper than its background, and the speed of the running anomaly seems poorly related to its rate of progress across the ground.

A second viewing reveals none of the vertical motion l would expect from a feline running at high speed. lt’s as if someone had cut out a matt black cat silhouette, nailed it to a skateboard and then towed it across a field.

I hold with the idea that they were US regimental mascots released into the "wilderness" of Britain. I suspect the same is true of the Australian big cat sightings too. A case of introduced species. They must be very inbred by now.
