@Mythopoeika my book is by Dell and has the three books in one..
I've always thought about getting them as the three original parts and re reading the trilogy..

I remember reading somewhere(the book title us in my shot locker at the back)that bigfoot and fairies have been to known to Platt horses manes and tails...seems almost a similar story to the cat mutilation that seems to be constantly going on...?!
@Swifty am I right in thinking that the norfolk/norwhich/east Anglia area is home to quite a few unexplained disappearances and deaths,especially of young women?!!
I'm currently reading esoteric Hollywood by Jay Dyer and most excellent it is too..in amidst that I'm reading this months fortean times...brilliant stuff...!!
@Schloup I need to read the book first but I'm old enough to remember hearing about the case in the mid eighties maybe through one of those Peter haining books we used to always have In the library!!
