I've just got a new phone and every time I 'like' a post it asks me to confirm it, is this a feature of the phone as it never did on my old one, if so is there anyway to turn it off, it's a Sony experia, also it appears I can only 'like' posts, I used to just hold my finger on the like button and options for, 'ha ha', 'like', 'sad' and 'love' used to come up, now this doesn't happen.

We've had this issue crop up before, but we never managed to ascertain why certain users were affected and not others.

In the past, the problem has gone away and fixed itself

We'll look into it all the same.

@Souleater:

Have you logged onto the forum since you began using the new phone? Or did you simply transplant your settings (etc.) from the old phone and access the forum without a new logon?

I'm just curious if (if not sorted already) it might have something to do with the 'browser' used by the phone?

That's my first reaction, too. Is there a native pop-up blocker?

Seems a lot better, a little slower but definitely better with Opera

That's what I mean - does the Xperia have an automatically enabled one on its own browser?
I did find one yes, but using Opera rather than Chrome seems to have stopped the issue, the experia is my dad's old phone and will be looking to buy a new one today, that should solve any residual annoyance.

Hi Souly if your not averse give the Brave browser a spin on your new 'un, I liked it so much its my default desktop browser too (switched from Firefox which Mozilla once again seem to have "feature creep" with).
