He doesn't only melt-down 'on screen'.

Suggestion here that he appears to be on stimulants (jaw action). Obviously I wouldn't know.
He may be on something, yes. He does have a business selling a bunch of 'vitamins'. I'd say he's probably dosed up on testosterone.
It'll probably kill him in the end if he keeps getting into fights and arguments like that.
I dunno, maybe he went to that place expecting to have a quiet meal with friends, but perhaps the people in there laughed and pointed. Maybe that was the last straw?

Being sued is apparently a great mental health treatment for temporary psychosis.

"This week, Jones acknowledged the shooting was real during a sworn deposition he made as part of a defamation case brought against him by Sandy Hook victims' families.
"And I, myself, have almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I've now learned a lot of times things aren't staged," he said. "

Alex Jones says 'form of psychosis' made him believe events like Sandy Hook massacre were staged

"And I, myself, have almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I've now learned a lot of times things aren't staged," he said. "So I think as a pundit, someone giving an opinion, that, you know, my opinions have been wrong, but they were never wrong consciously to hurt people."
He said it was the "trauma of the media and the corporations lying so much" that caused him to distrust everything, "kind of like a child whose parents lie to them over and over again."
"So long before these lawsuits I said that in the past I thought everything was a conspiracy and I would kind of get into that mass group think of the communities that were out saying that," he said. "And so now I see that it's more in the middle... so that's where I stand."

Yeah let’s be clear, folks - there is nothing ‘amusing’ or ‘entertaining’ about this man. He purposely caused misery for parents of murdered children because it helped him sell vitamin supplements. If you have anything positive to say about him, I question your ethical integrity. Full stop.

I don't think people work so simply.

It seems awfully human of me for a man to be capable of the great, the terrible and the trivially pointless.

And I don't think it follows that finding a man amusing is either an endorsement of his views or any kind of reward--unless you buy his products (in which case you are nuts, too).

Personally, I find this funny.

Extreme Language Warning--NSFW:

Sorry, maybe because I grew up in the country he spews his garbage in, my gut says there is nothing funny to see there. I don’t find Trump amusing, either.
That's probably because Trump isn't amusing. He's scary.
So is Alex Jones, but at least he doesn't have a big red button.

Laura Loomer, I think?

She even managed to get banned by Ûber and Lyft. She complained about Ûber and Lyft only using muslim drivers.

She has crossed the line from saying unpleasant and dumb things online to doing unpleasant and dumb things in real life, notably turning up at the homes and offices of high-profile figures she hates.

She's like a stalker ex-girlfriend who thinks she sort of understands politics.

She turned up at twitter hq after they banned her, and locked herself to a door until they would unban her.

Employees just ignored her and went in the other door. Eventually she had to pee and requested the police, who were doing nothing about her, to unlock her, so they did.

"Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, the founder of Infowars, has agreed to pay a $15,000 legal settlement to the creator of Pepe the Frog, a cartoon character appropriated by the alt-right that is now widely used in racist internet memes. "

A bit of a weird twist today.

Lawyers for the Sandy Hook parents are claiming that Alex Jones sent them child pornography (perhaps unwittingly) when providing requested documents during the disclosure stage of the upcoming trial.

Jones' lawyer says that it was malware and his client had no knowledge of anything untoward, but then Jones went on air and... well... watch the video at the link. He didn't help the situation very much. It sounds as if he's putting a bounty on somebody's head.

Alex Jones or a beluga? Tough choice.

Alex Jones arrested for a DWI. Infowars says "Oh he was an innocent victim of a dragnet", arrest affidavit says otherwise.

On the way to Jones’ home, a sheriff’s deputy saw a car matching the description of Jones’ car and pulled him over. Jones had a “strong odor of alcohol coming from his person,” according to the affidavit, and said he had drank a bottle of Sake earlier that night at dinner. The report describes Jones’ eyes as “water and glassy,” with “constricted pupils,” and adds that the host was “excited, talkative, and carefree.”
According to the affidavit, Jones told the officer he had gotten in an argument with his wife at a Japanese restaurant that night, and had later walked home.
“Jones stated he and his wife got into an argument while eating dinner and he ended up walking home from the restaurant,” the affidavit reads.
Jones swayed back and forth during the interview, according to the affidavit, and later allegedly failed a “walk and turn” sobriety test.
Jones announced his arrest on a Tuesday episode of his show, claiming that he had blown under the legal limit of 0.08 Blood Alcohol Content. Jones recorded a 0.079 on the test, according to the affidavit, putting him one one-hundredth below the limit. Texas law, however, allows for a driver to be charged with a DWI even if they’re under the limit, if they’re considered to be impaired.

In case you were wondering what he's up...

Jones has always had a pretty cool gravelly voice, but judging by the posted video, if I was a friend of his I'd now be advising him to go to see a doctor - that doesn't sound good, at all. (And dietary supplements won't cure throat cancer.)

Yes, I think he must have a throat problem too. Nodules, perhaps?

I blame the colloidal-silver toothpaste.

Conspiracy theorist and talk radio host Alex Jones is using public fears over the coronavirus outbreak to help peddle toothpaste that he falsely claims can kill the virus.

Jones told listeners on his “Infowars” program Tuesday that silver-infused toothpaste being sold on his website has been verified by federal officials as a coronavirus killer, despite the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention saying otherwise.

“The patented nanosilver we have, the Pentagon has come out and documented and Homeland Security has said this stuff kills the whole SARS-corona family at point-blank range,” he said. “They’re still discounted despite all the hell breaking loose.”

Can't believe he's still allowed to sell snake oil.

Alex Jones loses in court again.

Alex Jones Loses Sandy Hook Court Appeal, Must Now Pay Nearly $150,000 In Legal Fees

The Infowars host is being sued by nine people whose family members were killed in the shooting at the Connecticut elementary school

Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist and repeated loser of court battles, was ordered Wednesday to pay more than $20,000 in attorney fees after losing another appeal in a defamation case related to the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He now owes nearly $150,000 in legal fees before he even faces a jury.

Google has finally kicked the Infowars app from its Play Store, the company confirmed to multiple outlets Friday. The tech giant’s app store was one of the last major bastions for conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, as his show (and all the extremist views and tainted supplements it touts) has been booted from nearly every mainstream online platform.

As first reported by Wired, the Android app’s removal appears to be in response to the radio host’s recent bogus covid-19 video that “disputed the need for social distancing, shelter in place, and quarantine efforts meant to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.”

Oh dear! What's a drooler to do?

The pandemic is a hoax, so sayeth the Jones as he attends a "You Can't Close America" Rally and shakes lots of hands...

You know - I'm beginning to think that the current unpleasantness may have some positive effects after all.

And then again, if anyone dies - he's a performance artist playing a character and didn't really mean it at all. Honest, guvnor. (Or maybe that 'past psychosis' defence will get another airing).
