Russian TV has been attacked by pirates falsely informing viewers of a nuclear strike in the east of the country and providing guidance on how to protect themselves.
This seems a touch more serious than the Vrillon and Max Headroom intrusions.

Research done by Tommie Trelawny revealed the hoaxer/voice of Vrillion that inturrupted ITV news on 26 November 1977 was the late Bob Tomalski.
