What a circus is has all become. Such a shame as we have spy cameras that can read a newspaper from space, drones, blimps and HD camera traps etc. Thus, we have the technology but not the financial backing to explore the Pacific Northwest and Canadian wilderness and all this fakery and conspiratorial attitudes will simply drive any potential benefactors away. Again, I blame the internet and multi-channel tv.
To true, seems to go with the territory!

Another clown for the circus:

"The experience had such an impact on him, that he said it changed him overnight. He said he felt a strange supernatural feeling descend upon him, taking him back to his childhood.

“This was the start of the experiences I had last summer and I'm still having experiences to this day ," he said. "And now is when I'm feeling comfortable to share my experiences."

Since then he has worked with Bigfoot research teams: “During the first encounter, it was like a veil was lifted and it completely changed my life,” he said.

Since joining the team he said he has had countless experiences and works tirelessly to try to make progress with research into the creatures. To date he says he has gathered more than 8,000 pieces of evidence in the forms of photographs and video footage"

So apparently he travelled from Wales (?) to Washington State, USA where he happened to have a mate who was an outdoorsy-type and who had seen Bigfoot, wow :) They then go out for a look in the forest and now he sees Bigfoot for himself..! They then fire a gun, I mean of course, wouldn't we all...?

So where does he share his groundbreaking research? The Journal of Cryptozoology or perhaps the Fortean Times...? Nah, why Tik-Tok of course.

Legend.

Wow. More than 8,000 pieces of evidence and not one of them is a hair, droppings, or a piece of bone, or anything testable. What are the odds?

Possibly all based on hunches? i.e. the 'Bear' necessities of life.

Bigfoot sightings investigated on The Proof is Out There
In other news, the North Carolina black bear population has bounced back in recent years;

Sorry, he seems a nice guy but he is a confirmed believer who is clearly going out looking for Bigfoot and attributing every woodpeckers and rustle in the undergrowth to Bigfoot and only Bigfoot. The footage looks like a black bear and there are better cases from better areas.

A new video from the Small Town Monsters crew - Boggy Creek Monster (narrated by Lyle Blackburn).

This is good.

'On the Trail of Bigfoot: Last Frontier. The first 2023 Small Town Monsters docudrama features in-depth interviews with locals and a heavy focus on Indigenous communities. Focusing on evidence and encounters with the legendary Sasquatch, On the Trail of Bigfoot: Last Frontier aims to give audiences the most cohesive look at Alaskan Sasquatch lore.'

Very good article and a breath of fresh air after so many dodgy images on the internet and muppets running round with night vision cameras. This is a quite astonishing breakthrough as it is hard for skeptics to deny physical artefacts (although I am sure they will try). It does seem the great problem is getting people to acknowledge this research as it is not as 'sexy' as blobsquatch images are to the media and perhaps too challenging for others to accept...

I think the way to go is eDNA.

That was very interesting.

I found a bigfoot account in Grenfels `Labrador Doctor.` This was close to the Quebec border.

(will sort it out but busy)

900 Bears per Bigfoot: New statistical analysis finds that many sasquatch encounters are likely misidentified bear sightings
https://www.dailygrail.com/2023/01/...ters-are-likely-misidentified-bear-sightings/

Sasquatch sightings are logically a function of the number of people in each state/province available to make a sighting, and the size (land area) of each state/province (because interactions between hypothetical sasquatches and humans are probably less likely when both populate an area sparsely). Consequently, a model was implemented which investigated the possible association between sightings and bear populations while also adjusting for the potential impact of human population and land area. This was a linear mixed-effects regression model which regressed the number of sasquatch sighting reports in each state/province on the black bear population, human population, and land area of each state/province.
Foxon’s analysis found that “black bear population was significantly associated with sasquatch reports such that, on the average, one sasquatch sighting is expected for every 900 black bears in a given state or province”.

Because bears routinely walk on two feet and make human like footprints?

I was watching one of the many bigfoot documentaries on telly and it was pointed out that sasquatch is often seen at times of the year when bears are normally hibernating.
