Billy Meier

Didn't her Christmas tree disappear as well?

According to the version in Mike Dash's Borderlands, it disappeared from her living room but reappeared torn to pieces and missing the ornaments in her back garden four days later. The ornaments gradually reappeared over the next few days. (None of the other versions I've read mention the Xmas tree, though.)

Hello again and splendid timing! I had no idea you had just started up a discussion again - I poked my head in today and have new "news" (that English, again) that might be of interest. Here's the latest announcement from Michael Horn regarding information covered at the latest International UFO Congress in Laughlin, NV. What did you say, Emps? "You pay, we'll release?" Well, here's that DVD for sale again, but look at the topics and presenters.

I have just returned from the 15th Annual International UFO Congress Convention & Film Festival, in Laughlin, Nevada, where lead investigator Wendelle Stevens, Christian Frehner (FIGU representative from Switzerland) and I just presented the "Meier Case Update – 2006".

I am delighted to tell you that a new, four-hour, double-DVD set of this presentation has just been completed and is now ready for release – at a special price to my list members – and it’s a perfect companion to "The Meier Contacts" DVD.

Some of the highlights of this comprehensive new presentation include:

• CIA foreknowledge of the investigative team’s (Stevens, Lee and Brit Elders) every step (including their “secret“ travel arrangements) and CIA knowledge of the authenticity of the Meier case

• The existence of photos of the Plejaren UFOs taken by the CIA

• Meier’s detailed description of the murder of Pope Paul VI and his accurate foretelling of the circumstances surrounding the election, brief term – and murder – of the next Pope (John Paul I), as well as the name and circumstances of the then following Pope John Paul II

• A description of Meier’s 11 photographs of the still-to-occur San Francisco earthquake

• Meier’s meetings with Mahatma Ghandi and with numerous world leaders

• Information about Father Zimmerman, the parish priest who was young Meier’s confidant and assisted him with his mission

• The heretofore unrevealed, Indiana Jones-like exploits of Meier in the 1950s and 1960s, including his activities in the Middle East (when he was known as "The Phantom") where he was authorized to apprehend serial killers and mass murderers

• Corroboration (in 2005) of the murder of Vatican banker Roberto Calvi (told to Meier in 1982)

• A list of the names, ages and planets of origin of over 30 of the extraterrestrial people with whom Meier has been in contact

• The devastating psychological damage to one of the Plejaren who observed atrocities during the first Gulf War

• The 11 year-old Plejaren girl’s unique (competition-winning) description of Meier’s mission

• New photographs of the UFOs taken by other people in Switzerland

• Meier’s recent excursions - to Mars and the moon! - including a trek on a Martian volcano and a description of the colors of the sunrise there

• Information about extraterrestrials from the same lineage as Asian earth people

• The "collectibles" of Earth origin owned by the Plejaren

• The identity of the man said to be the great-great grandson of Gabriel, the Plejaren "angel" who was the actual father of Jmmanuel – known to us as "Jesus"

• A report on the dramatic consequences of Ptaah making his UFO visible to three Swiss men who were openly skeptical about Meier’s contacts

• The computer/internet specialist – from the Plejaren system! – who assists Meier and FIGU

• The actual number of "alien abductions" and genuine extraterrestrial contacts according to the Plejaren

Plus:

• More information from both Wendelle and Christian as they reveal details of their unique, first-hand and long-lasting personal involvement with Meier, the witnesses and the evidence in the case

• A post-presentation question and answer period covering many, many more topics of interest!

Wendelle Stevens is one of the original investigators in the case, along with Lee and Brit Elders, private investigators who also funded the investigation and testing of the physical evidence. Christian Frehner (who has also witnessed of the Plejaren UFOs) has been involved with Billy Meier and FIGU since 1982 and both he and Stevens have quite a lot of previously undisclosed, first hand information on this amazing case.

This new, four-hour DVD set will soon be offered at www.theyfly.com at $45 (plus $6 shipping U.S./Canada, $13 Global Priority internationally) but…list members can purchase the set now for only $35, plus shipping! This is more than a 20% ($10) savings over the price to the public!

I personally won't be buying the DVD, although I would like to see and hear Wendelle Stevens' and Christian Frehner's presentations. (I already know what Michael Horn has to say).

As for the bulleted claims, what substantiation is offered or exists?

Thanks for the info - that sounds fantastic!! This in itself sounds like it's worth the entry price:

The heretofore unrevealed, Indiana Jones-like exploits of Meier in the 1950s and 1960s, including his activities in the Middle East (when he was known as "The Phantom") where he was authorized to apprehend serial killers and mass murderers

You really couldn't make it up (well OK it does sound made up but you know what I mean ;) ).

I won't be buying the DVD either (however, if Michael Horn wants to send a copy to Al @ FT Towers for review I can arrange a review) but more because I know I'd be grinding my teeth in frustration over the whole thing and I'd rather just leave it as that wonderful list and my imagination will make it seem much more fascinating than it possibly is (OK it might be jam packed full of gob smacking revelations that will leave me pinned to my seat but I'm not going to be spending nearly $60 on the off chance - I bet I could have much more fun for the half the price with David Icke's DVDs).

It occurs to me that Michael Horn might send FT a gratis DVD if someone were to do an objective review for the magazine. That would generate publicity and could also lead to a discussion in the Magazine Articles section, I would think.

It counts for something - I'll have someone pop around to your house tonight and shine a torch on your bedroom window whilst going "wooooooooooo woooooooooo."

Wouldn't you rather have Ptaah himself show up for a chat and a game of chess? That's the latest I hear from Billy's camp -- he plays chess with his Plejaren friends.

Ptaah: Semjase, I think I'll make a trip to Earth today for another match with Billy.

Semjase: Okay, Dad. Tell him hi for me...and don't forget that new move I taught you!

The more I read about Billy Liar the more I know he is making it all up. All that stuff about dareing do in the 50's and 60's and the job he did. Tut tut you beleivers, he feeds you what you want.

Billy Liar predictions

Could anyone post a list of Billy Miers predictions and try and give generally acurate date about when he made each one, there are supposed to be around ten of them. I think someone listed them in the giant thread about Miers photos but I cant be bothered going through it all 8) reading that thread drives me mad with dispare 8) . I remember reading a couple of them and the searching on the net to try and find earlier evidence of someone predicting the same stuff. I found enough evidence to debunk his claim that he predicted that there would be ( I think ) volcnoes on ( I think ) a moon of jupiters before anyone else. I will have a go at debunking all the predictions if I get the list again of someone who would be kind enough to post it.

Could these people be anymore delusional?

Well if you are going to spend nearly $60 on a DVD then you certainly are certifiable.

Billy Meier UFO case

Most of you are familiar with the Billy Meier UFO case, some of you not. I think there is some very good evidence in this case. Not only did Meier himself provide high quality evidence, photos in particular, but many witnesses saw and photographed the objects as well. Some of them very credible such as UN ambassador Phobol Cheng, eye witnessed the extra-terrestrial Asket when Billy Meier was in India. Some info here

I've appended your new thread to the old, quite lengthy Billy Meier one. As you can see, a lot are familiar with it - but quite a few aren't overly convinced by the "evidence."

last year i met and got to know quite well a former member of the billy meier group obviously she was mad as a tree

An old doco (late 70s?) about an American group investigating Meier's claims. It is interesting to compare the approach of this group to what a current digital age investigation would do. Here they film in isolation from the public gaze. They just get on with it. They approach the subject with less of an agenda than many of the current crop of so-called paranormal investigators. They leave the viewers to decide (although one suspects a bias towards belief is likely). They are thorough and non-judgemental, leaving their conclusions until all the data is in. The specialists looking at Meier's artefacts, metal samples, photos etc are very thorough and quite credible, using the best technology available at the time (the old desktop microprocesors are kinda cool). I enjoyed the film for its old school atmosphere. Not sure if it was posted earlier on this or another Meier thread, but this upload was just a few months ago, so probably many readers have yet to see it.

edit: the doco is called Contact, made by a someone called Savadove. I'm sure it will be very familiar to experienced Forteans.

Enjoy:

Thanks for that link Skinny! Haven't looked seriously into Meier yet. Nice avatar! You appear to be pretty well preserved..

It's difficult to take Meier's accounts at face value when you find out he was making his supposedly amazing photos by cutting out pictures from books and magazines.

Perhaps the Pleiadeans are completely alien in appearance, so manufactured the images they presented to Meier from popular culture. This suggests they are habitual liars, if not particularly good ones.

I have always been interested in this case.....I recall a 'traveling ufo show' that came to our local shopping mall in the late 80's and set up some booths, displays, photo boards, etc and the Meier case was at the heart of the display.
It led me to buy Kinder's book 'Light Years'....and later other ones as well as investigating it online when the internet opened up.
I came to the conclusion he was a 'trickster' who was very clever and fooled the people around him....though I have always had a nagging thought that perhaps there was some kind of 'paranormal' event or experience in his life that sent him down that path to create this whole Pleiadian tale.

Any thoughts on this old but strange case?
o_O

Without wading through the previous 20 pages of this thread, didn't a journalist find some UFO models in his barn after he'd taken the pictures ? .. as I remember reading about it, Billy explained that away as an attempt to recreate what he's seen .. am I thinking about the wrong bloke ?

I think you might be correct.....not sure who found them but there were one or two models discovered.
What amazes me is that over all those years no one has ever caught him red-handed faking something....unless I'm mistaken. And the man is one-handed on top of it. BTW...I'm not defending his credibility but just astounded that he was able to do all of these hoaxed things over so many years with no one catching him in the act so to speak.
Gary Kinder's book was worth reading to anyone interested....I believe it was one of the first (if not the first book) to examine the Meier case.
Some of his pics are amazing and then there were also recorded noises, etc. Allegedly others also saw ufos, heard things, etc.....but the magazine pics and other obviously faked images certainly discredit the man.
He even claimed he had and fired an alien ray gun and of course met several Pleiadians including the lovely Semjase.

All in all quite a tale and one of the longest ongoing cases of alleged contact on record.

Thanks and I thought there were a few of these models found .. just wasn't exactly sure if I was talking about the right bloke ..

Same 'bloke'.....at one point his wife said he was a fraud and I think she might have been one of the people who found the 'model', but his son always defended him...at least up to some years back . I haven't followed any recent developments on the case.

I recall one story Kinder related in his book where one night Meier said he sensed the aliens calling to him. So Kinder and his crew of two drove Meier as he instructed them to a wooded area some miles from the house that Meier and his family lived in where Meier, went off on foot to meet the aliens. He told Kinder that he would return in a little while.
It was a cold and wet night yet several hours later Meier came back warm and dry. So Kinder and crew assumed he was inside somewhere where it was warm and dry yet they were never able to find any location within that area where Meier could have walked to in that period. It's possible that Meier had someone waiting with a car prearranged on the other side of the woods or something but they never were able to figure out what or where he went.
Apparently he did several things like this with them there investigating but they could never catch him out.
Strange case indeed.....

Interesting. The narrative style and general tone fit a documentary, but many parts make me wonder if they're supposed to be reenactments or if they're just being dramatic.

The ornaments gradually reappeared over the next few days. (None of the other versions I've read mention the Xmas tree, though.)

I've discussed this a little in the thread about it. https://forums.forteana.org/index.php?threads/mince-pie-martians.66524/

One thing that popped into my head over and over was "why?"

The aliens claim to have visited many countries and tried to make contact many times. why?

The tone of their conversation seemed entirely at odds with their behavior. why?

The woman wrote pages about the encounter, but seemingly wanted to avoid talking about it later. Why?

Assuming it's fake, why would she go to that much work to make a fake story?

So many questions, so many potential answers. but that last question, one possible answer hit home a bit too hard. What did she gain from the case? She got an amount of sick leave equal to a paid vacation.
