A 35-year-old man who decapitated his mother in her Louth home has been jailed for life after he pleaded guilty to murder this morning.

Tomasz Krzysztof Piotrowski, who had previously lied to psychiatrists in an attempt to get a diagnosis of schizophrenia and a lesser sentence, was arraigned before and sentenced by the Central Criminal Court less than a week after he was deemed fit to stand trial. Piotrowski, originally from Poland but with an address at Cherrybrook, Ardee, Co. Louth, pleaded guilty to murdering his mother Elzbieta Piotrowska (aged 57) on January 8, 2019, at her home in Clonmore, Ardee.

Mr Justice Michael White noted the case was the second in a matter of months where long-term drug addiction had led to a drug-induced psychosis that resulted in "the most horrific of tragedies".

Ms Piotrowska's decapitated body was found in her home that morning. She had suffered a significant number of stab wounds and an axe and a number of blood-stained stanley knives were found close to her body.

Piotrowski was arrested on the same day and was subsequently deemed unfit to be tried having been assessed by psychiatrists at the Central Mental Hospital (CMH) in Dundrum, Dublin. However, Mr Justice White deemed Piotrowski fit to stand trial last Friday after hearing evidence from two consultant psychiatrists who had disagreed on the issue. Delivering judgment, the judge said he was satisfied that the Polish man could find his way around navigating a plea, follow the evidence and make a proper defence. ...

A Buddhist monk used a homemade guillotine to decapitate himself so he could be reincarnated as a higher form of life. The Buddhist authorities do not recommend this as a method, in fact they said, in not so many words, this was a stupid way to go about it. They recommend giving money to charity or "free a caged bird", which is not quite as dramatic.
 
This guy stabbed and decapitated another guy who'd allegedly wronged him and his wife, then passed the time until the police arrived playing soccer with the severed head.

He then described to police investigators what led to the killing.

Arciniega-Saenz said he, his wife and Garcia had been hanging out four days prior to the killing.

... Arciniega-Saenz told police the three of them had fallen asleep.

He said when he and his wife woke up, Garcia was gone with their belongings.

Arciniega-Saenz said he followed Garcia to Apodaca Park to confront him.

During the confrontation, Arciniega-Saenz took a knife from Garcia and stabbed him several times and cut his head off.

He then told investigators that he dragged Garcia's body to the street and played soccer with Garcia's head. ...

This story wasn't about any Scandinavians. It was reported about Poles - specifically, Polish farmers. :pipe:

Deity or not, however, Pumpille is a veritable girl's blouse compared to Polish farmer Krystof Azninski, who staked a strong claim to being Europe's most macho man by cutting off his own head in 1995. Azninski, 30, had been drinking with friends when it was suggested they strip naked and play some "men's games". Initially they hit each other over the head with frozen turnips, but then one man upped the ante by seizing a chainsaw and cutting off the end of his foot. Not to be outdone, Azninski grabbed the saw and, shouting "Watch this then," he swung at his own head and chopped it off.

"It's funny," said one companion, "when he was young he put on his sister's underwear. But he died like a man."

Over the last four years, many villages and towns in Cabo Delgado have been abandoned - but in the last month Islamist militants have been pushed back by a 1,000-strong contingent of Rwandan troops. Buildings lie in ruins, roofs caved in, evidence of shelling or blasts still visible. Walls falling apart and weeds growing right inside what were once human dwellings.

I was among a group of journalists seeing, for the first time, the destruction left behind by some of the least known Islamist militants in the world. Locals referred to them by the Arabic name for youth - al-Shabab. But they have no connection to the better known group of the same name based in Somalia. They are said to be affiliated to the Islamic State.

"It is more of ideological affiliation," Rwanda's military spokesman Colonel Ronald Rwivanga told us.

The Rwandan forces took us on a tour of the province, following the routes taken over the last few weeks.

One group moved from Palma in the north, the scene of a hotel attack in which dozens were killed in March - some of the victims were later found beheaded with hands tied to their backs. The attack forced French energy giant Total to shut down its natural gas plant there. ...

Some of the women who had been rescued from captivity were more forthcoming. We met them in Pemba, where many of them had fled.

The horrific murder—deemed an honor killing after the woman eloped with her fiance without her family’s consent—took place in the western Indian state of Maharashtra on Sunday, according to the BBC. Both the young man, identified as Sanket Mote, and the pair’s mother, identified as Shobhabai Mote, have been arrested in connection with the murder of the woman, named Kirti Avinash Thore.

“Kirti was preparing tea when Sanket attacked her from behind with a sickle while the mother caught her daughter’s legs,” Kailash Prajapati, Assistant Police Commissioner, SDPO Vaijapur told local media. “He beheaded her and brought the head outside the house. We suspect that the mother and son took a selfie with her head. We have sent the phone to the forensic lab to try and retrieve the photo. The duo then left on the bike.” ...

Really appalling, giving the pastor's head to his wife.

Suspected Islamist militants have decapitated a church pastor in the Macomia district of the gas-rich northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado, according to local reports.

Last Wednesday, a resident of Nova Zambézia village went to the district police command, carrying a bag that contained a human head belonging to her husband, military sources say.

The suspected Islamic State-linked insurgents intercepted the pastor in a field, decapitated him and then handed over his head to his wife and ordered her to inform the authorities, she told the police.

This is the latest attack suspected to be carried about by jihadists who have been targeting districts in Cabo Delgado since October 2017.

Police then followed a trail of blood to where the son, 25, was standing with undeniable evidence. Police say they struggled with the son to detain him.

LGBT Palestinian kidnapped, beheaded after fleeing West Bank​


A Palestinian man who fled the West Bank into Israel after his sexual orientation was revealed was kidnapped and brutally beheaded in Hebron, according to videos circulating on social media from early Thursday morning.

Footage of the lifeless body of Ahmad Hacham Hamdi Abu Marakhia, 25 years old, being carried in the Palestinian city emerged late on Wednesday night.

Marakhia resided in Al-Bait Al-Mokhtalef (The Different House), a safe haven for LGBTQ+ Palestinians and Arab-Israelis who have suffered from violence and discrimination, for their nationality as well as their LGBTQ+ identity.

An investigation into the murder was opened by the Palestinian Authority's police.

Authorities in Ohio arrested and charged a 34-year-old man accused of killing his adoptive mother before sawing off her head and setting her body and house on fire. Investigators reportedly said that Lionel Justin Gore admitted to the slaying of Diane Gore, saying “the Holy Spirit made him do it” and that the victim “was the devil.”

... 911 dispatchers with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday evening received an emergency call about a structure fire at a home ... The address was reportedly known to be the home of Diane Gore. The call triggered responses from the sheriff’s office, the Grandview Township Fire Department, as well as the state fire marshal.

Upon arriving at the scene, detectives met with Diane’s sister, Stephanie Williams, who reportedly said she had arrived a short while earlier to find the house on fire.

Williams reportedly told investigators that when she got to her sister’s home she saw Diane’s adopted son Lionel Gore, who was “covered in blood,” storming out of the house. Per the affidavit, he told her to “Get out of the way or I’ll kill you next,” before getting in his vehicle and fleeing the scene. Williams said she attempted to enter the house but could not because of the growing flames.

Deputies reportedly spoke to Lionel Gore’s 6-year-old nephew, who allegedly witnessed the horrific events that took place in the moments before the blaze.

The boy reportedly told investigators that he witnessed Lionel holding a knife and “sawing at [Diane Gore’s] neck.” He reportedly said Lionel began the decapitation using a smaller knife, then retrieved a larger knife and continued sawing. The suspect then set the house on fire with the boy still inside, forcing the child to “crawl out” on his own due to the smoke, per the affidavit.

Grandview Township firefighters reportedly located a headless body in the master bedroom of the home. The victim’s severed head was reportedly next to her torso.

Deputies with the sheriff’s office located Lionel’s car and a brief chase ensued. Deputies said they were able to take Lionel Gore into custody, but not before his vehicle struck the vehicles of two deputies. Lionel Gore was transported to Wetzel County Hospital to have his injuries treated.

... Sheriff Detectives Sgt. Scott Smeeks and Lt. Bryan Lockhart went to the hospital and read the suspect his Miranda rights before speaking to him about what happened to his mother. The suspect reportedly responded by saying that he was adopted and Diane Gore was not his mother.

After initially being uncooperative, the detectives said Lionel Gore asked to go to the bathroom. When he returned, he reportedly sat down on his bed, looked at Lockhart and said, “I cut her head off and set her on fire.”

“The sheriff’s report notes Lionel said he killed Diane because the Holy Spirit told him to as she was the devil,” the Marietta Times reported. ...

She was a committed Christian!

A woman has been found guilty of murdering and decapitating her friend in order to inherit her estate.

Jemma Mitchell, 38, killed Mee Kuen Chong at the 67-year-old's north-west London home in June 2021, before putting her body into a suitcase and driving to Devon to dump it. Ms Chong's headless remains were found by holidaymakers in Salcombe, 200 miles from her home in Wembley. Mitchell forged a will in an attempt to gain money for renovations to her home.
Ms Chong, who was also known as Deborah, had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and struggled with her mental health, the trial at the Old Bailey heard.

The jury was told the pair, both committed Christians, had met through a church group and had become close, with Mitchell also acting as a "spiritual healer" for Ms Chong.

Woman’s decapitated head found in Paris park


The severed head of a woman has been found in a Paris park today following yesterday's discovery of a bloody lower torso inside a plastic bag.

The gruesome discoveries were made in a wooded area of the Buttes-Chaumont park, a popular spot for families and joggers in the 19th district of Paris, and renowned as a location for French crime films.

Buttes-Chaumont was shut off on Tuesday after the discovery of at least two bags containing flesh and bones belonging to a 'European or North African'.

‘The first bag was found on Monday in an area used by park workers to dump waste,’ said an investigating source.

A source close to the investigation also told the Paris newspaper that 'the corpse was not in a state of putrefaction, which seems to attest to a recent death'.

Shrink involved in beheading.

Japanese police have arrested a woman and her parents over the beheading of a man in the city of Sapporo.

Hokkaido police said they arrested Runa Tamura, 29, and her father Osamu Tamura, a 59-year-old psychiatrist, on suspicion of conspiring in beheading the victim at a hotel room and relocating his severed head in the middle of the night between July 1 and July 2.

The head of the victim, Hitoshi Ura, 62, has been missing since then.

Police raided the suspects’ home on Tuesday and arrested the prime suspects’ mother Hiroko Tamura, a 60-year-old part-time worker, on suspicion of conspiring with her family in transporting and keeping the head at home.

Nicolas Galy, 40, was struck in the air moments after jumping from the aircraft in July 2018.

The pilot, who has not been named, was found guilty on Tuesday of involuntary manslaughter and given a suspended sentence by Montauban criminal court.

The Midi-Pyrénées Skydiving School Association, which employed the pilot, has been fined 20,000 euros. Half of that amount, 10,000 euros, has been suspended, French media report.

According to Le Parisien, immediately after the drop, the pilot of the aircraft began its descent towards the aerodrome tarmac.

Before the skydiver jumped out of the aircraft, there was no consultation on the trajectory the plane would take, the paper said.

Man beheads father and calls for 'war on US federal employees' in sick YouTube video​


A man has been arrested after uploading a video of his father's severed head and calling for US federal employees to be "killed on site."

Justin Mohn, 32, begins the YouTube video by staring at the camera.

He then holds up what looks like a human head wrapped in a plastic bag.

"This is the head of Mike Mohn, a federal employee of over 20 years and my father. He is now in hell for eternity as a traitor to his country," he continues.

Police in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania said they arrested a suspect tied to the video just after 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

Police confirmed that a man in his 60s was found beheaded in the bathroom of a home in the 100 block of Upper Orchard Drive.
