Any you know of? I cannot find any on Ebay

I reccolect seeing one in the School library; this would be mid 80s.

Cultural stuff on the Roma might be helpful too.

Well, Im trying to load that.

Friend has a Vardo (??? Correct me if wrong) and I would like to be able to understand it better, and record the thing for posterity.

(Know nothing about the subject but hey, a new heritage opportunity)

ISTA has a couple cultural works, this one has some miscellaneous images that might help you (no promises about the effectiveness/accuracy or perspective of the author): https://www.sacred-texts.com/pag/gsft/index.htm
and Project Gutenberg might be worth dredging for bits of information (even fewer promises about authorial perspective here): https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/subject/6554

but I don't know of much that's really on the nose. Couldn't pull up much from my local library.

I was thinking about made things rather than esoteric.

Arent the roma trying to get away from that aspect of their culture these days?

This website has some interesting craft pages relating partially to Romany/Gypsy items: https://stuartking.co.uk/making-gypsy-flowers/

Have you thought of getting in touch with the The Gordon Boswell Romany Museum? http://www.gordonboswellromanymuseum.co.uk/

I remember avidly reading handicraft books too, in my childhood. From memory there was a lot of crossover between Romany and canal boat handicrafts. I found this book on the art and symbols used on both here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Travelling-Art-Gypsy-Caravans-Barges/dp/0752455028
I wonder if a book on various traditional crafts might be a good starting point? eg., something like this? https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=30656582234
