While on a trip into the Big City to visit the National Army Museum yesterday, my eagle eye fell upon a blue plaque en route to the attraction. Closer inspection revealed something that might be of interest to peripatetic Forteans:

Here's the building, with my ancient iPhone playing the game this time:

You'll miss this attraction, however:

Do you have one without the local tramp in view?

It's Renfield!

What's the story of the tank?
It's a big metal thing that trundles around on caterpillar tracks following other tanks. It's a creature that likes to be in a heard. That particular tank got lost trying to find it's friends and died of loneliness in that very spot. No one can move it or give it a decent burial as it's too big and heavy.
