Jon Downes (CFZ) wrote about how old Devon farmers remembered the days of 'driving' livestock from place to place (nowadays trailers/lorries are used but the old drove lanes are still there) and how sometimes when crossing bridges there would be an extra animal tagging along that looked like a sheep or cow but when they looked closer was something else in disguise. This plays into the folklore of the fae folk and bridges etc.In Phantom Black Dogs in Latin America I sunmarised a modern series of reports from Chile, involving flying, winged black dogs, truly bizarre. They were aggressive and left one witness with physical injuries.
