Brushed Steel: The Langenburg Sightings

This 2005 incident summary was submitted to NICAP. It includes a detailed account assembled from original sources and the sources' bibliographic details.

Curiously ... Even though this submission letter / report is archived at the NICAP site, it is not indexed among the sightings available for viewing. The Langenburg encounter does not seem to be documented or indexed at the MUFON or NUFORC sites either.

It reminds me of another case I saw a dramatization of on the History Channel on one of their series; a family noticed at first what they thought was a tent that had blow onto their property, but when they approached it they noticed it was metallic and it took off from the ground, circling around in the air against the wind.

The same kind of thing happened with the Tully Saucer Nest:

The only kind of real crop circle, imo.
