Well, I also can't vouch for his firmness (ooh error missus, etc etc), but he does have brilliantly white teeth. Almost unnaturally so...

I worked in Western House (now renamed Wogan house), home of radio 2, back in 2000-and-something when it was being refurbished alongside the rebuilding of Broadcasting House.
In my role back then I was often in the building on my own and never experienced anything remotely spooky. Although one of our directors was of a certain age and was getting a little “absent minded” to put it mildly. I found him on his own in a studio one day having a rather loud two-way dialogue with himself whilst facing a wall.
Maybe he was in deep conversation with Rylans ghost?
