The pipe-bomb suspect Cesar Sayoc, although of Filipino background, claims affiliation to the Seminole tribe. His van, now being examined by forensic teams, was plastered with pro-Trump and pro-Native American propaganda. Seminole tribal elders seem to have dropped him faster than an angry tarantula though.
Whatever his cultural or ethnic heritage, evidence of his staunch Republicanism would appear to knock on the head conspiracy theories about false flags in this case.

It's OK, Trump's giving him a Presidential Pardon.
I just find it baffling that a guy of Filipino descent and with some sort of affiliation to Native American pressure groups would be such a huge Trump fan. Sayoc's credentials and ethnic background aren't your typical alt-right are they?

He hasn't even got any native American ancestry, which is a bit odd.

Also a few comments on Twitter regarding the fact that the van was pristine despite being a walking Trump billboard where many with just a bumper sticker have been vandalised/that Sayoc's online presence initially listed him as a Democrat before changing to Republican/that if he hand delivered them in close succession that they were reported hiw did he do thst to addresses on the East and West coast ?

Maybe there are obvious answers to these points, interesting that a Trump supporter would go tonto now just before mid-terms when he supposedly had a lead already.

All it shows is that unhealthy fixation on a damaging, even murderous, form of political protest knows no race boundaries. Heaven knows Afghanistan is no bastion of liberalism, and look at the problems they have. Look past the race, look at the character and personality, if you feel like judging. Plenty of right-wingers have no compulsion to blow up anybody.

Maybe he's a secret Democrat - i.e. still a Democrat? Lots of conspiracy stuff all over Youtube about this right now.

And a lot of it seems to originate from places like 4chan, who love spreading rumours, forged documents, disinformation and chaos to muddy the waters.

Interestingly, the alleged bomber lost his house to a fraudulent foreclosure in 2009. The bank involved was run by Steve Mnuchin, who is now United States Secretary of the Treasury.

Indeed. You find it across the political spectrum. Some who are 1/32 Amerindian will proudly proclaim their heritage. Some who have no Amerindian blood at all literally wear headdresses at election time.
Australia has thousands of seventh generation Australians who claim they are Scottish and Irish...and once a year at the gathering of the clans they don the full regalia.

Any excuse for a pissup.

"Just when you thought it was safe to go back on Social Media."

The perpetrator of yesterday's appalling massacre in a Pittsburg synagogue was apparently a regular contributor on anti-Semitic social media and sinister websites that spread anti-Jewish conspiracy theories.

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/...wers-identified-suspect-synagogue/1789239002/

That is why I regard unregulated social (or should that be antisocial?) media as orders of magnitude more dangerous than any influence the mainstream media has.

Mueller accused of rape.

Special counsel asks FBI to investigate conspiracy against Mueller
BY EMILY BIRNBAUM - 10/30/18 01:43 PM EDT

The Office of the Special Counsel investigating the 2016 election has asked the FBI to investigate whether women have been offered money to make claims of sexual harassment against Robert Mueller.

Peter Carr, a spokesman for the special counsel's office, told The Hill in an email: "When we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation.”

A spokesman for the FBI declined to comment, citing the bureau's practice of not confirming or denying conducting particular investigations.

The referral was first reported by HillReporter.com.

Mueller's office confirmed that they learned of the scheme from several journalists who were approached by a woman who said she had been offered $20,000 to make sexual assault allegations against Mueller, The Atlantic reported.
The unnamed woman in a recent email to multiple journalists wrote that a man who said he worked for GOP activist Jack Burkman asked her “to make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller” in exchange for the money.

Mueller accused of rape.
You should be be clear that he's not actually accused of sexual assault, but someone is accused of trying to pay women to falsely accuse him of it.

/and by reading the Atlantic article, very bad at it.

Logical progression.

I have no allegiance to either party, but recall that Avenatti also dug up and promoted Julie Swetnik's allegation of Kavanaugh having been present at regular 'gang rapes'. This looked and smelt like (laughably bad) conspiracy to me at the time, and the Democats should have run a mile to distance themselves from the claims (they already had a far more plausible victim).

Once the genie gets out of the bottle, you are on a crazy train, tit-for-tat ride to Pizza Gate.

Those claims were too politically focused to post here (unrelated to the conspiracy in US elections). Claims against Mueller are directly related since he's prosecuting the potential conspiracy.

To my knowledge the Democrats never brought her claims up during the confirmation hearings. And there have been no accusations Swetnik was paid to make them. There were claims Swetnik was lying, however lying on something you've sworn is true in court is a felony, and Swetnik has not been prosecuted for that.

I'm just pointing out that once political parties dabble in unsubstantiated claims, they are likely to be on the receiving end of them.

Interesting.

How a right-wing troll and a Russian Twitter account created 2016's biggest voter fraud story
A single tweet highlights how Russia’s disinformation campaign was able to seize on political content posted to social media in order to spread distrust.

When Naim Tyler tweeted a video on Nov. 8, 2016, that showed an alleged voting machine malfunction in favor of Hillary Clinton, he expected some attention. But he didn’t realize what was about to happen.

The video he posted showed him repeatedly pressing the button for Donald Trump, while the machine’s indicator light stayed on for Clinton. It turned out that the machine was working properly, and that Tyler wasn’t following the instructions for changing his vote. But nonetheless, the video aligned with right-wing conspiracy theories and went viral, aided by Russia’s then-unknown disinformation campaign.

“BREAKING: Machine Refuses to Allow Vote For Trump in Pennsylvania!! RT the hell out of it! #VoterFraud #voted #ElectionDay” tweeted @Ten_GOP, a Kremlin-backed Twitter account masquerading as Tennessee’s Republican party. It was retweeted more than 29,000 times and picked up by dozens of media outlets.

Special counsel asks FBI to investigate conspiracy against Mueller
The big reveal took place yesterday and was a complete mess.

Jacob Wohl, the presenter, holds the distinction of being the youngest person to ever be banned for life from the financial services industry. Wohl's Surefire Intelligence has photos of known people for various positions it claims to employ, a photo of model Bar Rafaeli is the photo of the "Jerusalem Station Chief" of Surefire Intelligence for example, all employee photos have been identified as other people. Phone numbers for Surefire Intelligence go to various members of Wohl's family. Wohl accused the media of harassing his teenage sister by repeatedly calling her, her phone number was one used for Surefire Intelligence.

The reveal took place in a rented hotel room. Wohl and Burkman stated that the accuser had gotten too nervous to appear in person, and Wohl provided a photo of himself with the accuser's head painted over. I say painted because MS Paint was used to paint over the female's face in the photo. Image search later revealed the photo was Jacob and his girlfriend.

Wohl gave a specific date and location of the alleged event. People looked up the date alleged and Mr. Mueller was in a courthouse, serving jury duty that day, something that was found immediately in a search because the court case Mueller was on the jury for was national news at the time. Wohl alleged the event took place in New York, the court case Mr. Mueller was in court for was in Washington DC.

Wohl posted on twitter alleging Antifa was bussing in mobs of protesters to protest against him, with him posting a photo of a bus on the street outside the hotel. The bus was identified as a regularly scheduled commuter bus that stops at that location daily as part of it's route. A single person got off the bus at the location. The street was otherwise empty.

Burkman is familiar with alleged victims/whistleblowers/witnesses that suddenly don't show up for press conferences, as this is the not the first time he has held a press conference where they didn't show up. His last press conference was going to be about who "really" killed Democratic staffer Seth Rich, where the whistleblower didn't show up either, but did call in to the press conference, from the phone of Burkman's son-in-law.

After introducing Wohl as “a child prodigy that has eclipsed Mozart.”, Burkman also said that Wohl had an “honorary degree” from Harvard Law. He does not.

Burkman then stood next to Wohl as Wohl spoke. For the entirety of the event, Burkman's fly was down.

“As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate, action: you liberate a city by destroying it. Words are to confuse, so that at election time people will solemnly vote against their own interests.”
― Gore Vidal

And of course straight from the Horses mouth, his most famous quote:

“You know, it really doesn`t matter what (the media) write as long as you`ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”
― Donald Trump

Trump doesn't want the votes of US military personnel to be counted in the Florida elections.

WASHINGTON ― Two days after skipping a visit to an American military cemetery near Paris because it was raining, President Donald Trump called for effectively disenfranchising overseas military members voting in Florida, raising further questions about the draft-evading president’s commitment to the armed services.

“The Florida Election should be called in favor of Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in that large numbers of new ballots showed up out of nowhere, and many ballots are missing or forged,” Trump tweeted early on Monday, the observed Veterans Day holiday for the federal government. “An honest vote count is no longer possible-ballots massively infected. Must go with Election Night!”

Scott and DeSantis are the GOP’s candidates for U.S. senator and governor in Florida whose election-night margins of victory have resulted in legally mandated recounts.

But skipping those recounts would not only violate state law, it would ignore the ballots of tens of thousands of Florida-based troops deployed overseas. Those ballots are supposed to be counted if they arrive by this coming Friday.

“It’s a nice commentary from the commander-in-chief on Veterans Day,” said Will Fischer, who served in Iraq as a Marine and is now with the VoteVets group.
