Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): Conspiracy Theories & Claims

I think people put on weight during the lockdowns.
Less exercise, more comfort eating, more boozing at home.
People are also quite stressed at the moment with the cost of living.
It all takes a toll on health.
What about FIFA registered athletes? It's long after the lock down yet their own figures state a 5 fold increase of FIFA registered athletes suffering heart attacks etc that doesn't include people jumping off cliffs and 98 or 90 something year old people as per the BBC report?

These are hardly people suffering from excess boozing, although a few maybe, and comfort eating or suffering the effects of inflation.

It's easy enough to check on the internet. Just avoid the BBC and their 'fact checkers'.

A five fold increase since the vaccinations? Doesn't that say something? Surely that deserves questions being asked if nothing else but no, no questions are being asked by the MSM. That in itself should be enough to raise suspicions about this vaccine that doesn't stop transmission or stop a person catching covid. It should also ask questions about the MSM and who controls the narrative. The question about whether it stops a person being seriously ill in hospital has never been proven. I can provide hundreds of links to proper studies if needed on all aspects of the so called vaccine that all point in the same direction.

How much evidence is needed that we have been lied to? A vaccine that is experimental, has never been properly tested, that has never been tried before, and is using people for the experiment that is still on going that has been stated many times publicly? Oh come on, surely just those few undesputed facts is all that is needed.

There is no doubt that there was a spike in 2021. It includes probably the best known case, that of Christian Eriksen. When he suffered his heart attack he hadn't received a covid vaccine. Same goes with Charlie Wyke of Wigan.

Anyway, this is starting to veer off-topic so I'll end by saying football stadia and training complexes are venues where you are likely to find defibrillators.

Let's all remind ourselves to avoid turning down the easily travelled side road of 'political comment', lest this thread gets out of hand and receives mod attention.

Another Covid conspiracy loon. Looks as if it was a lot more than a fantasy.

A Covid-19 conspiracy theorist who planned to launch terror attacks on phone, radio and TV masts to bring down the Government has been jailed. Oliver Lewin, of Ferrers Road, Coalville, had meticulously plotted the outlandish scheme but claimed his idea was just a fantasy and would not be carried out.

The 38-year-old, who had no previous convictions, was an AV engineer who had experience installing and maintaining radio masts and used this to carry out deep research into the weaknesses of radio and TV systems. He even carried out reconnaissance missions in the Coalville and Whitwick area to bolster his mission’s aim.

Lewin did not want to act alone and was found to be actively recruiting others via the Telegram app to ensure other attacks could happen elsewhere in the UK. The extremes of his plan even saw him carry out training exercises, teach himself to walk in the dark and build a hideout near the M1 motorway in a bid to damage a culvert in the area and disrupt its water flow.

The conspiracy theorist’s plot saw him turn to social media to identify and recruit like-minded individuals to help make his plan a reality. It was here where Lewin claimed to be ex-military, while his efforts in training others was completed through the writing of a manual.

His plot was foiled after he was caught trying to actively recruit undercover Counter Terrorism officers to his cause. Police searches at his home found two air rifles and pellets, a pistol, BB gun and weapon accessories, and large amount of tools and army surplus combat gear were also found. ...

Yeah I don't go with that.
Fair enough if you're in a war zone and need to stealthily approach (eg) a fuel and ammo dump in the forest without getting discovered, but I doubt it's a specialist skill that is going to be in much demand for getting across the car park of the Leicester Markfield Travelodge next to junction 22 of the M1.
The guy's soft in the 'ead!

You're probably right but he was a wannabe warrior/special forces soldier. FFS he thought he was going to bring down the government with his clownish antics!

I love the first sentance about how he planned to bring down the government by 'launching terror attacks' on phone, radio and tv masts. Bring down the government? How exactly?

Good job he didn't learn to walk in the dark otherwise the entire country would be in peril.

It's not just walking though, it's tactical walking in the dark. An essential part of military training, getting to a target without tripping whilst making minimal noise.
Ah but Harry Vickers turned the skill into a lucrative skill of his trade ... as a burglar!
"Flannelfoot.
His ability to avoid detection and capture by the Metropolitan Police was the subject of media sensation. Whilst the police knew his identity, they lacked evidence to arrest him. He was sentenced in December 1937 to five years penal servitude for housebreaking.
Vickers used rags or cloth taken from the houses he burgled to muffle his footsteps." [Source: Wikipedia]
He happily admitted that when doing his first stint in prison (for burglary, natch), he practiced in his cell at night by blindfolding himself and negotiating obstacles, such as buckets, chairs and so on, placed by his cellmate.

There was a protest in London on Saturday 21st Jan about people who had been injured (or died) as a result of the covid vaccination. As usual since covid started any protests against the vaccine never seems to get a mention in any MSM. Consequently the vast majority of the population only hear what those in power want them to hear.

I'm not sure that the Leicester Mercury qualifies as 'MSM' really.
I'm not even sure if it qualifies as a newspaper TBH.

How dare you! It's a venerable regional daily.

The Leicester Mercury is a British regional newspaper for the city of Leicester and the neighbouring counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. The paper began in the 19th century as the Leicester Daily Mercury and later changed to its present title.[1]

Along with the rest of Britain's regional daily press, the Leicester Mercury has struggled in circulation terms over the past two decades. The paper had an average circulation of 69,069 per day in the first half of 2008, down from 73,634 per day the previous year.[6][7] This represents a year-on-year decline of some 5.7%[7] and a drop of 47% when compared with a sale of 139,357 copies in the equivalent audit period for 1989.[8]

The newspaper is the sixth largest-selling regional title in England.[6] In 2001, after a re-design and relaunch, it was named Regional Newspaper of the Year.

Okay, I take it all back. Apologies to Leicester Mercury readers.

To be fair, Bridgen didn't say that.
An Israeli scholar (IIRC) said it, and Bridgen merely quoted him.

But these days it is perfectly acceptable to 'shoot the messenger', evidently.

Well, it's like the Gina Carano thing. She got canceled for calling out public censorship.

"But the MSM told me she made "anti-semitic" statements!"

Yeah, no... she was comparing the treatment of Jews in WW2 to the way anyone who didn't stay on "the message" was being treated.

When you consider what happened to the Jews it's really not a valid comparison.

I'm an opponent of cancel culture but there was far too much hyperbole on Carano's part
Well, that's only true when you look at it from the angle of Auschwitz. The German govt deceived the German people into not knowing that Auschwitz happened. How? well, the fact no news was allowed to be published unless vetted by the Party. The point behind the analogy isn't the end result, it's that letting the govt tell you what to believe... is naive, and probably not in your best interest.

Actually, that brings up a point, WHO was Kristallnacht implemented by? The govt talked the citizens into giving them a list of everyone who was a Jew. And SUSPICION was sometimes enough.

Hehe, ah yes, the lynchpin of so many conspiracy theories... public censorship and govt sponsored mis-information. Welp, we know the end result of THAT case. Thing is.... the case that caused Kristallnacht started YEARS earlier. The Message was that "Jews are bad and here's why". any public discourse was quashed, and those attempting public discourse were often sent to the camps. Which, yeah, prior to Kristallnacht most of the people in camps were there due to political reasons. Which is worse than Cancel Culture, but... same basic goal, suppression of free speech.

Which was the point Gina made. It's not often in Human history we've seen govt "ministry of truth" campaigns on that scale. Has any of them ever ended well?

Was antivaxxer killed by Shredded Covid or a Bio Weapon Spray? Would a tinfoil mask have saved her?

Rochelle “Silk” Richardson has come up with yet another conspiracy-theory death cause for her late sister, Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway. Richardson indicated on her podcast Wednesday that it was likely a mysterious “bio weapon” sprayed “into the air.”

Hardaway, 51, died last month of a heart attack due to heart disease, according to her death certificate. She was not suffering from COVID-19 at the time, as many had speculated online. Both sisters were known to be anti-vaxxers.

Silk described the death of her sister on her latest podcast — her first one without Diamond — as “God’s plan,” but “suddenly and unexpected.” Hardaway was “happy” before her death, and “it just happened suddenly,” Richardson said.

At a memorial service in Fayetteville, North Carolina, late last month, Richardson suggested, without evidence, that the COVID-19 vaccine caused her sister’s death.

“Don’t you dare call me a conspiracy theorist, because I saw it happen,” she said at the service. Richardson recounted that Hardaway said “I can’t breathe” after returning home from a party. Richardson said she performed CPR on her sister as they waited for emergency services.

“I was there when it happened, and it happened suddenly,” Silk recounted. “I want America to wake up and pay attention. Something ain’t right. It’s time to investigate what’s really going on here and give some answers to why people are falling dead suddenly.”

Silk speculated that Diamond had been killed by vaccine “shedding” — somehow becoming infected with live particles of the vaccine shed by those who received a vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has emphasized that none of the coronavirus vaccines authorized for use in the U.S. contain a live virus.

On her podcast Wednesday, Richardson she was “unable to say directly ... if my sister was vaxxed or not” — citing “legal purposes.”

“But I can ask you a question: If you knew that the vaccine, the thing that they call a vaccine, was a bio weapon, would you take it? But it doesn’t “matter if we’re vaxxed or not, because when you’re talking about a bio weapon that’s engineered and created to affect all of us ... it don’t matter,” she added.

You see, with the theory 'a bio-weapon used to affect everyone because it's (eg) being sprayed into the air', where that fails is that in order for that to be true, you would have to accept that those responsible for deploying such a weapon know that they themselves would also be affected by it.
