Anyone heard of these guys before?

A neolithic culture from (what is now) far eastern europe. they farmed, raised animals, hunted, gathered, fished, made pottery and textiles, and lived all very peaceably, in 'sophisticated settlements' and then every 60-80 years, burnt the whole lot down and started again!
