A woman in the throes of passion risked being arrested as a terrorist after an elderly neighbour reported hearing her shouts of " ISIS is good, ISIS is great" during sex.

Worried someone was about to give birth to a terrorist plot, the 82-year-old woman reported the unusual cry to police.

But instead of rushing to the scene, officers at the Brown Deer police station in Wisconsin, USA, suggested she keep an ear out along the street in case she heard any other pro-militant moans.

Is a secret sniper killing off Isil's high command in Libya?
Mystery gunman credited with shooting three of the terror group's leaders in their new "Caliphate" in Colonel Gaddafi's home city of Sirte
By Colin Freeman, Chief foreign correspondent
3:08PM GMT 29 Jan 2016

As befits all the best practitioners of his shadowy trade, no-one is quite sure whether he is one man or many, or even simply an urban legend.
But after a string of assassinations of its local henchmen, the Islamic State's new "Caliphate" in the Libyan city of Sirte is abuzz with talk that an anti-Isil sniper is at work.
In recent weeks, no fewer than three Isil commanders in Sirte have been shot dead from long range, according to local media.

The killings - reported to be the work of a sniper who honed his skills in Libya’s uprising against Colonel Gaddafi - are said to have sowed panic among Isil's forces in the city, who have carried a string of arrests and executions in a bid to track down the culprit.

The Sirte assassin's most recent casualty, according to social media reports from Sirte, was Abdullah Hamad Al-Ansari, an Isil commander from southern Libyan city of Obari, who was shot dead on January 23 as he left a city centre mosque.

The birthplace of Libya's late Colonel Gaddafi, Sirte has been under Islamic State control since last summer, Libyan intelligence officials estimating that there may now be up to 2,000 jihadist fighters now based there.
The port city’s new masters have made brutal examples of opponents, via a regime of floggings and beheadings enforced by black-masked religious police.

But while the group's leaders now enjoy unchallenged rule on the streets, that does not appear to have left them immune to long-range attack from Sirte's many battle-scarred buildings.
Tales of the mystery marksman are believed to have found a ready audience among the city's population, few of whom actively support the city's new hardline rulers.

Security fears as naval officer defects to IS in Syria
By Plymouth Herald | Posted: May 08, 2016

There are fears for national security after it was revealed a navy officer who trained in the UK has fled to Syria and defected to ISIS.
The 28 year old, is said to have in-depth knowledge of the UK shipping fleet gained during three years training in the UK.

Former Royal Navy First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Lord West told the Mail on Sunday: "This suddenly raises the spectre of IS damaging shipping.
"Someone with his knowledge opens up a whole new area where terrorism can take place."

The Mail on Sunday has seen a number of leaked documents, including those relating to the young man from Kuwait joining IS.
The newsapaper says he enrolled on a three-year Merchant Navy officer course in 2011 having previously worked on Kuwaiti oil tankers.

Lord West, former security advisor to the Prime Minister, told the Mail on Sunday: "I think the most danger is posed by IS acquiring a Liquid Natural Gas container. These are highly flammable and could cause a very large explosion. Britain and the US have been worried about this for some time."

The former UK student entered Syria in April 2014.
A former housemate told the Mail on Sunday his fellow student saw videos of killings in Syria committed by state troops.
An uncle claims said the 28-year-old's younger brother was killed in Syria. He said the student was about to take up a job on tankers in Kuwait before disappearing to Syria and sending his family a message.

I think he's more likely to get himself killed than blow up any ships. He hadn't completed his training, so he'd be very unlikely to get a position on another British ship, especially now his ISIS links are known about.

Ships which carry hazardous cargoes are designed to be fail-safe, and just one person attempting to bypass some of the safety measures would probably be noticed by other crew members, who obviously have an interest in their own safety.

No disrespect to the Red Duster but I feared an RN Officer had defected given the headline.

UK terror threat 'at highest since 1970s IRA plots'

Britain faces a level of terror threat not seen since the IRA bombings of the 1970s, according to a new watchdog.
Max Hill, the independent reviewer of terrorism laws, told the Sunday Telegraph Islamists were targeting UK cities.
He credited the effectiveness of the intelligence services in limiting the level of threat to Britain.

Mr Hill pledged to review anti-terror measures over concerns about any infringements of freedom.
Mr Hill, who successfully prosecuted the failed 21/7 bombers and the killers of Damilola Taylor, said the so-called Islamic State was planning "indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians of whatever race or colour" in UK cities, close to the scale of Provisional IRA attacks of the 1970s.

Speaking in his first interview since being appointed to his watchdog role, he said there were distinctions in the "mindset" of the IRA 40 years ago and those under IS now.

But he added: "I think the intensity and the potential frequency of serious plot planning... represents an enormous ongoing risk that none of us can ignore.
"So I think that there is undoubtedly significant ongoing risk which is at least as great as the threat to London in the 1970s when the IRA were active on the mainland."

He highlighted the numbers of British people travelling to Iraq and Syria to fight for IS.
"It's an enormous concern that large numbers - we know this means at least hundreds of British citizens who have left this country in order to fight - are now returning or may be about to return".

In his interview, he defended ministers over compensation to ex-Guantanamo Bay detainee Jamal al-Harith, who later carried out a suicide bomb attack in Iraq.
......
"[Ministers] are to be called to account if in error taxpayers' money is paid to an individual who actually represents a significant risk to our national security through terrorist activity here or abroad," said Mr Hill.

"But they cannot be held to account for a risk that was simply not present, not visible, not detectable at the time of the payout."

So this is where The War Against Terror (TWAT) has brought us to? Highest risk in around 40 years?
No. It's what the spread of a totalitarian, genocidal theology has brought us.

If we all sat around and sang kumbayah then I'm sure we wouldn't have any problems whatsoever.

All those Yazidi girls raped and sold in slave markets; Egyptian Copts beheaded on beaches; Pakistani schoolgirls shot in the head because they went to school. Yeah, all of that is because Westen countries arrested some terrorists. It's all our fault.

Met officers hold mock terrorism exercise on River Thames
By Nick Beake Home Affairs Correspondent, BBC News
Video, 45s.

More than 200 Met Police officers have taken part in a simulated terrorist attack on the River Thames in London.

Half a dozen "terrorists" hijacked a pleasure craft heading towards London from Kent taking dozens of people hostage in the Met's first big training operation on water.
The boat was intercepted by firearms officers near the Isle of Dogs.
The Met said the exercise was not in response to any specific threat to the river or the capital.

Just after 11:00 GMT, elite police marksmen in two small boats drew alongside the "highjacked" vessel, opened fire, boarded the craft and "neutralised" the threat.
Cdr BJ Harrington, the officer in charge of the operation, said the aim was to test the capability of many parts of the Met and other emergency services while operating in a "dangerous working environment" on the Thames.
"We want to make sure we're all working together so that London's got a really good response should this terrible incident happen," he said.

A report last year, found security measures on the river Thames needed to be strengthened.
The report's author Lord Harris called for "a comprehensive review of safety and security on the River, commissioned by the Mayor, to report by May 2017."

Met officers hold mock terrorism exercise on River Thames
They all lined the banks of the river and on the word of command poked out their tongues and pointed. After several attempts and a quick break for sandwiches, commanders are confident that their men could pull it off flawlessly in a real-life terrorist situation.

The Guardian emphasises that it was not just the Met Police involved in the Thames exercise:

'The Met, the Port of London Authority, London Coastguard, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), London ambulance service and London fire brigade took part in the exercise aimed at testing the effectiveness of emergency rescue tactics in lifelike conditions. The drill was designed to test every phase of the emergency response – from the moment an incident is reported to the conclusion of a rescue operation.
...

He said: “Most importantly, we give the people who are going to have to do this tricky and difficult and dangerous stuff the opportunity to have confidence that they can do it, and hopefully, above all, give confidence to people who live and work and visit London to say the police, the agencies, blue light agencies and other public service agencies, are in a really good position to protect them and keep them safe.”'

Presumably there is a terrorist cell somewhere that read this in the paper and went 'Oh you're kidding, back to the drawing board lads.'

'But I bought the cool matching wetsuits and everything.'

It's not just ISIL-type jihadists we have to worry about:
Exclusive: Former members of banned terror group meet at far-right training camp
WARNING: Some readers may find language within this article offensive.
Video report by ITV News Security Editor Rohit Kachroo

Former members of Britain’s first white supremacist terror group are still meeting in secret, despite being banned by the Government, an undercover investigation by ITV News can exclusively reveal.
National Action celebrated the death of MP Jo Cox before the group was banned by the Home Office in December.
The ban makes it a terrorism offence for the group to exist or meet, with a jail term of up to 10 years if convicted.

But undercover filming by ITV News caught individuals with links to the banned group together at a training camp for far-right sympathisers in the Peak District earlier this month.
The weekend billed itself as a “survival camp” with boxing and street fighting sessions, as well as how to deal with a knife attack.
Speeches were also given by organiser Larry Nunn on creating an “organised white society”.

Garron Helm, a prominent former member of National Action, was secretly filmed discussing the murder of Mrs Cox within an hour of arriving at the camp.
He claimed police used the MP’s death to pursue National Action.
“It’s not our fault she was killed,” he said. “I mean, she did have it coming.”

The 23-year-old added: “You see a lot of the lads are bitter over it. I mean some of the areas they are growing up in are so rough and so infested with you know, ethnics, that they’ve literally got no tolerance for people anymore they believe to be committing treason.”

National Action adopted the words of Mrs Cox’s killer, “death to traitors”, as its motto and Helm was filmed saying: “I do think if you’re committing an act of treason against, you know, your own ethnic group then by right you should be put to death.”
Helm, from Liverpool, was jailed in 2014 for sending an antisemitic tweet to Jewish MP Luciana Berger.
The offending tweet showed a Nazi-style yellow star superimposed on Mrs Berger’s face with the words “#Hitler was right”.

Might just be a nutter or might be a right wing terrorist.

A man aged 72 has been charged with stabbing a Catholic priest just minutes before mass began on Sunday.

The man is alleged to have stabbed Father Tomy Matthew, from Kerala in India, after he shouted at him: 'You are Muslim or Hindu... I will kill you.'

Mathew was about to begin an Italian mass at St Matthew's Catholic Church in Fawkner, north Melbourne, when the stabbing happened.

A 72-year-old man man was charged with intentionally and recklessly causing injury earlier this morning, Australian press reported. He was released on bail until the next hearing on June 13.

The priest's injuries, to his upper body, are not life-threatening. He was discharged from hospital this morning. ...

A Jewish community association in northern Sweden has decided to close following a series of far-right threats, seven years since it opened.

Their centre in the town of Umea was targeted with swastikas and daubed with messages like "we know where you live", and a car was vandalised.

Local members said the authorities had been unable to provide enough security.

Community spokeswoman Carinne Sjoberg said some people no longer dared to come to the centre.

Neo-Nazi group Nordfront were behind the hate campaign, she said, initially targeting her but then other members of the community too. The last straw came at the weekend when the windows of a member's car were broken.

"Our kids go to ordinary school, so members started to feel they didn't want to bring the children," she told the BBC.

"My mother and father are (Holocaust) survivors, so this is not OK. Enough is enough. It was like stepping into their shoes in the 1930s." ...

Police prepared to shoot terrorist attack drivers

Police may now have to shoot terrorists at the wheel of vehicles to stop them being used in attacks, the national lead for armed policing has said.
Officers were previously told not to shoot drivers of moving vehicles because of the additional dangers it posed, Simon Chesterman said.
But he said the approach had changed in the wake of attacks such as those in Westminster, Nice and Berlin.
He added officers now had ammunition to penetrate doors and windows.

Last month, Khalid Masood killed four people on London's Westminster Bridge when he mounted the pavement in a car and drove into pedestrians.
One of the biggest challenges previously faced by police was the risk of bullets bouncing off the glass of vehicles in such attacks, said Mr Chesterman, of the National Police Chiefs' Council.

"We've seen some very horrible and different tactics lately involving vehicles and lorries," he said.
"Within our policy, we used to talk about not shooting at a moving vehicle because of the danger we might cause if we fired at a driver.
"But if the vehicle is being used as a weapon in the first place, there aren't many tactics available in relation to stopping it, particularly a very large lorry.
"Driving a vehicle in front of it for example is not going to stop it. So you need to shoot the driver," he said.

As part of the change in policy, Mr Chesterman said the tactics of firearms officers were now "far more aggressive".
They are no longer being told to "locate, contain and neutralise" but to "locate and confront", he said.

He also announced that the number of authorised firearms officers available to be deployed across England and Wales is to reach 10,500 by next year - an increase of about 1,500.

That's apparently 1.5 to 3 hrs waiting for security, apart from check-in and boarding.

This, gentlemen, is no way to run an aviation industry.

US Domestic Terrorism plot foiled.

A lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard is a domestic terrorist and a self-identified white nationalist who was stockpiling weapons to “murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country,” federal prosecutors alleged in shocking court filings this week.

Christopher Paul Hasson was arrested on Feb. 15 on gun and drug charges. Four days later, federal prosecutors wrote in a motion to detain Hasson that those charges were just the “tip of the proverbial iceberg.”

“The defendant is a domestic terrorist,” federal prosecutors wrote in the court filing, “bent on committing acts dangerous to human life that are intended to affect governmental conduct.”

Hasson, a resident of Silver Spring, Maryland, was assigned at the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters in Washington, D.C.
According to prosecutors, Hasson wrote about establishing an ethno-state — a goal he acknowledged would require violence. “Liberalist/globalist ideology is destroying traditional peoples esp white. No way to counteract without violence,” Hasson wrote in a June 2017 draft email obtained by prosecutors. “Much blood will have to be spilled to get whitey off the couch,” he continued.

“I don’t know if there truly is a ‘conspiracy’ of ((((People)))) out to destroy me and mine, but there is an attack none the less,” Hasson wrote in the draft email, deploying parentheses around the word “people” to signify Jews.
