Kids with autism often flap.

And my eldest son is over 30 but still VERY skinny - I think he struggles to push seven and a half stone, and he's nearly six foot tall, so his arms and legs are thin. He's not ASD, but is possibly ADD, and he would have looked very similar to this, and also behaved in a similar way when he was 10/11.

You do realise that if you hadn't given him socks for his birthday he would still be living with you? (jk):mcoat:
