I found this absolutely fascinating. It's more than just two noses; in the second photo of Snuffles you can clearly see that his eyes are slightly too wide apart and his muzzle unusually broad. Had the effect been more exaggerated, he would have been a Siamese twin, or at least a two-headed dog!

He's no less a nice dog for all that, though...

I'm not sure I'm convinced Snuffles has a rightful place on the Cryptozoological part of the webboard, but I'm happy for the birhinal mutt. Just to throw in a cryptozoological connection to the story, I'll link to this Shukernature article about another mysterious two-snouted canine.

There are breeds of dog called the Catalburun, the Pachon Navarro and the Andean Tiger hound, all of which have a split nose as a breed feature.

Not sure where to post this link but anyway ... a mountain lion with a possible conjoined twin growing out of the back of it's head in Southeast Idaho ..
