If you ever happen to be in East Sussex, pay a visit to the 3000th wonder of the world, the great pyramid of Brightling.
Local legend says the inhabitant (Mad Jack Fuller) is inside, seated at a table with a lovely bottle of port at hand.

I hope I'm not going too far off topic in relation to Sussex, but an absolutely similar pyramid is located in Marchern near Leipzig.
On this page http://www.piloton.it/foto/machern/machern.html I put the photos I took of the entire park.
In my humble opinion the most interesting part is the secret (not so) underground passage that leads to the tower.Find the images on this page, click the right mouse button to translate the few lines.
I suppose that this kind of pyramids are not an aesthetic whim, but are connected in some way to Freemasonry.
