English Heritage are advertising a set of events in the Autumn at various sites in Northern England exploring how ghost stories are central to understanding medieval monastries and how "medieval monks and nuns used ghost stories to affirm their beliefs in the hereafter."
However they seem to be advertising them on the website as creative writing courses with ghost story sessions.
https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/whats-on/roche-creative-writing/ sites are listed here.
They are free to EH members but require booking.
So a bit confused but I thought I'd post it in case anyone here is interested they could probably get more detail from the individual locations.
As (it seems) to be about ghosts I thought it might be better here but if Mods disagree please move it elsewhere.
