I travelled around Europe and Scandinavia for several months in 1995 with 5 friends in a vw camper van (another friend had a ford transit). The two vans would split up and regroup depending on what we wanted to see ( we had different interests ).

Early on in the tour, after a week or so apart the two vans regrouped in Copenhagen at a campsite called something like Bellahoiy camping, where we stayed for maybe a week while exploring the city. One night we returned to the campsite at about 2 am and (carrying on drinking as normal ) noticed small bright lights moving about one part of the sky, the lights appeared to be stars but were moving in straight lines for a short distance before changing direction suddenly, there were 4 or 5 in total, moving at a speed that looked to be about half the speed a tennis ball travels in a tennis match ( so very fast considering the distance away ) .

This went on for 2 or 3 hours then suddenly stopped, so we went to bed for the night. We never saw the lights again and over the next few days talked to people about what we had seen ( mainly in pubs ) in Copenhagen, none of whom had any idea what we were talking about. The month this happened would have been July , and the direction about north west. That's the best I can remember it, it seems such a long time ago now, but if you have any questions just ask .
