Those were the days when even video nasties would get a tie-in computer game!
Yes, but it would always be a little platform game with minimal relevance to the actual plot of the film. Those were the days when even video nasties would get a tie-in computer game! *gazes into middle distance wistfully*
now I just have to work out if this is a genuine Henrietta Evil Dead 2 prop/ proof of concept or a fan made replica ..
I don't know yet mate .. I'm waiting for a reply .. he might just be someone who's found a picture on the internet.Sweet as. He's selling it right? What sort of dough?
He says it's production made and he's selling it btw ...Sweet as. He's selling it right? What sort of dough?
No idea .. I could hook you up or you could register on www.deadites.net/ and contact him yourself if you're keen .. he seems to want to sell it, I can't afford it at the moment .. I wouldn't go over $200 tops for it and then you have to consider import tax and postage on top of that .. $150 would be my offer .. if you want to avoid import tax, ask him to mark on the packaging as a gift. Without blowing the dust off my collection info, this would have probably been created by either Mike Trcic, 'Screaming Mad George' or Mark Shostrum as something to show Sam Raimi for approval for the larger sculpts .. before buying it though, anyone needs to ask for paper proof that it's from the production ..For?
The Mrs will use her flashy phone so hopefully yes mate .. it was made by a Scottish bloke who sold it to me for the very cheap price of fifty quid .. it's not 100% accurate (the chimney should be sand stone yellow , there should be a swing bench at the front of the cabin and a trellis at the other side of the front) .. the interior is amazing though ..Please could you show us a photo of the inside? It's awesome.
I was the person who bought it in 2012, I was tipped off about it by the webmaster at bookofthedead.com, the guy who made it did so to use it for table top game play .. as far as I know, I'm the first owner of it after the bloke who made it .. she's a beauty mate and IMO worth a lot more than I paid. Thanks for posting the deadites linked pics, I mod there (as Swofty) and had forgotten Kain had put those pics up ! ..Looks like it originally was sold in 2012. Did the maker buy it back and then sell it to you.

“This is the actual exterior wall from the front upper left side of the original Evil Dead II Cabin,” Pasquale notes in the eBay listing. “In relation to the movie, this piece would have been above the clock and cellar door. The wall is fully intact. It is approximately 16 feet long and pretty heavy. Shipping can be done via U SHIP services at the expense of the buyer or can be picked up by the buyer in Weirton, WV.”
Nice find and cheers !, I've just posted this over at Deadites.net .. I was following these guys progress online when they took the place apart, the owner of the land was pleased to let them do it because it saved him the cost. Without checking, I think these guys are the same ones that also dismantled Ash's famous work shed from the same location at the same time and now tour with it at conventions.
