My phone finally accepted that I meant "Fortean" rather than "Gotten"!

I've put a load more issues up. Most are in good/very good condition. There's a huge pile that I need to go into in more detail, ranging from unsellable (badly creased) to minor creasings/water stains/printing faults which will go up at some point in a reduced price.

I also found and if you (or anyone else) has any of these knocking about, I’d love to buy them. I had them all, then some I loaned out, and the others must have been thrown out.

I loved these! They were not much to look at unlike FT and the Unexplained, rough paper, grainy b&w photos, but some of the stories in them just fascinated me.

I used to pop into W.H. Smiths on my lunch break to buy the latest and still remember some of the writing, as whomever(s) were writing the articles clearly had a feeling for it. ‘Oxford Ness, a wilderness of shingle…’

Whenever I searched for part works on the paranormal from the ‘80’s, it came up with FT and the Unexplained which I also read, but not these.

I’d love to find more of them As I mentioned, they weren’t presented as professionally as FT or Fate or what-have-you, but I just really loved them and how they were written. It felt almost as if some passionate ‘Fortean-minded’ people had got together to write a ‘zine. I’ll gladly post them on to you to read after I’ve had a look, if you want. Limited book space these days, unfortunately.

I have a massive pile of FTs from the past few years that I might as well sell if I can get £3 a pop for them on eBay! Was going to just gather them all together and drop them in a charity bin, but charity starts at home as they say.

Before I put any issues up I do some research and find out what others are charging, then I try to undercut those prices. If my issues have damage, I start chipping away at the price. However, there's a limit below which I'm reluctant to go.
You might also want to look at postage prices too. I send all my stuff signed for. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it, and it also means there some element of protection.
When I started eBay many years ago, there were a few things that went missing in the post (yeah, right!) and I had to reimburse the buyer.
Funnily enough, no one has made a claim against me since I started using recorded/signed for. Odd that, isn't it?!

Yes, this happened to me. Now I send everything First Class tracked and signed for.

I used to use 1st class but the cost soon became more than the items' worth. It could be that even the price of 2nd class signed for is too much but I'd rather not take the risk.

It turns out that it was quite the scam to say something wasn't delivered, when it's being held at the post office, then win the ebay complaint, get money back THEN go get the goods. Thieves eh?
