Hi, a search on the forum don't gave me any results, so think that would have to give some space here for this person, and of course for his work.
František Bardon or Franz Bardon is one of the most noticeable magicians of the XX century, most know for his 3 books about magic, thinked as a system of autoformation for magicians.

Born in the village of Liberec, now Chequia, in 1909. Son of a father interested on christian misticism and hermeticism.
Bardon is most known by his three books on magic: "introduction into hermetics", "The practice of evocative magic", and "The key of the True Kabala". The 3 books were think as a part of a set of five that cant be finished by his dead.
This set of books were at the same time, not only a work for him but a true magic mission to achieve. There was a kind of memories that couldnt be finished called "Frabato, the magician" were he exposes how the writting of that books were a order given by a kind of magic spirit. The objetive was to write 5 books one for each of the first Tarot arcana, so " introduction.." was for the card of the magician, " The practice..." Was for the card of the priest, ,and "The key.." was for the card of the empress. He couldn't finish the book for the card of the emperor, and still more misteriously, the spirit sujested to Bardon try to show something about the card of the Hierofant, but not too much.
The personality of Bardon is quite far of the XX century ocultist full of overtwisted barroquism and gloomy narcisism that have damaged too many times the Hermeticism of that century. Bardon instead is cristal clear and without hidden corners.
Will try to put some more notes on this character.
Have to say that i got info and pics from the excellent webpage about bardon in porteguese:

Will post more info and links about Bardon books and followers around the world.

The written works of Bardon are mainly 3 books, go to explain them more indeep.
The first is the one that explains the more basic concepts and techniques on magic and is the one of choice to get a general view of the magic: what can be reached with it, how it works in general, and how to start training your mind to reach good levels at performing it. Is both a teoric and a practical manual.
Is centered on the mental work around the classical 4 elements.
What i think when reading it was that there is a connection between the most basic elements magic and other more complex forms as the Kabala, cause the idea is basically the same. You build a kind of language in which you code operations that happens both at the mental level and on the spiritual level too. That vision have consequences, and are the vision of the Kabala that develops on the third book in which the Kabala words are not subjected to any particular language ( usually the classic hewrew) but can be built in any language if the magician develops an accurate combination of the sounds the colours and the spiritual configuration around a goal to achieve.
For me is probably the best book, cause it's mix of very basic training, and the explanation of all the magic environment at the same time.

Is not the Squid game nor the PlayStation, are the 4 elements with the Spiritual simbol at the center.

All three formation books are available on the internet archive site, paper copies are still available on amazon, even exist an edition with the 3 together in English. Translations in English are quite good. The Spanish ones are very crappy and a lot of times even incomprehensible.

For the ones that are interested on the Bardonian approach to magic say that are many groups on the web devoted to his works, being one of the most prominent the works of mr Rawn Clark, that wrote a comment book around the "initiation into hermetics". He have a very interesting YouTube channel in which keep on talk about many magic And mystic subjects, being the Bardon books ever one of them.
