Ghosts On Normal TV Shows

In case anyone is keeping score, the "ghost of Seb" appeared again tonight in Corrie. This time, far from being the supportive and friendly spirit we saw last time (unless I have missed an appearance), he was lurking outside the kitchen window, with a cut and battered face like Mr Pipes, and an angry, menacing expression. I'm assuming this means Abi is now feeling guilt over his death and the recent death of wossisname, and is heading for some kind of Episode.
Mason was the one that’s just died. Abi is starting the lose it big time. Good the actor gets some more work.

We readers got to see how these ancient, deep-rooted myths and legends and stories still cast a spell over the people and even Cromwell himself (to an extent), even as he tried to do away with what he routinely dismissed as simple-minded superstition that held back progress and enlightenment.

Well, in one writer's interpretation of events we do, anyway. It doesn't mean that this is actually what happened. We make stuff up.

I can't place that. Got any further details? :twothumbs:
I assume it's the character 'Kiston' from Resurrection of the Daleks (1984)

Species: Humanoid
Job: Enginner
Affiliated with: Dalek Trooper
Appearance: Resurrection of the Daleks, 1984
Main actor: Leslie Grantham

Kiston was a mechanical engineer in Lytton's mercenary company.

Kiston was summoned to make repairs and adjustments to Davros' life-support chair after his ninety-year imprisonment. Davros took control of Kiston's mind and used him as an agent in his plans to take control of the Daleks.

He was killed by Daleks loyal to the Supreme Dalek.

Lytton later encountered a barman resembling Kiston in an East End pub. At first he suspected that the man was Kiston, but came to realise he wasn't.

What will be really worth seeing is when an actor who has died IRL as well as on screen comes back - although I expect it's possible with CGI.

What a strange place to choose to haunt. I'd have thought he'd want to get well away from the place.
This just sounds like someone trying to boost their own internet profile to me. If he recorded a voice (which is possible), what makes him think it was Leslie Grantham's voice other than the fact that people know who Leslie Grantham was and that will boost this person's internet profile.

I think he did, to do with cancer prevention. Don't know whether it was pre recorded or CGI.
LONDON (Reuters) - Comedian Bob Monkhouse came back from the dead on Tuesday in a television ad -- with the help of computer wizardry -- to promote a campaign fighting prostate cancer, the disease that killed him.
Ad-makers blended archive footage of Monkhouse with shots of a body-double in a graveyard for the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation's "Give a few Bob" campaign

The Sopranos character Livia, mother of Mafia boss Tony Soprano, was played by Nancy Marchand who died before filming completed.
A final scene was cobbled together from old footage and CGI that featured Livia and Tony bickering entertainingly.

It is famously badly-done and unconvincing.
Have to say that it looked OK to me but it's actually pretty obvious when you know.

Livia's hair parting changing sides is a clue. :chuckle:

Diagnosis Murder is a guilty pleasure of mine and has a couple of supernatural episodes.

There’s the last ever episode, which I believe is titled The Blair Nurse Project. Where the ghost of a former nurse is haunting the hospital.

There’s also a very entertaining episode where Dr Sloan encounters a real life vampire.

I'd LOVE to see those episodes.

It's regularly shown on Great TV if you can get that channel? I'll keep an eye out and put out an alert when the paranormal eps are on.

Edit: Just had a look and by major coincidence, The Blair Nurse Project is showing today at 4 P.M. on Great TV!

Les Dawson did "An Audience With" in front of a live studio audience through the wizardry of Pepper's Ghost.
Some dead people are very hard working.

There's also an alien/UFO episode called Alienated (season 6 episode 6).

TBF I'm sure Heartbeat was a town full of Ghosts or stuck in some sort of limbo as it never entered the 1970's ;)
