They're "effing" gigantic. Ok, they look human made close up, but if you look at the rocks shown in the photos taken from a distance it looks natural.

Mysterious stones on Mountain Shoriya (Kemerov region, Russia) have puzzled both scientists and ordinary men. The wall of rectangular stones piled up on top of each other is already being called the “Russian Stonehenge”. According to one of the stories, they were found back in ancient times.

Though it aroused the interest of researchers in 1991, it was not explored then due to lack of financing. The research was just resumed in autumn 2013.

Fascinating. Would be good to see an aerial shot to try and figure out what the structure of them is - a circle, a fort, random>

One of the photos on the page is from Israel and got nothing to do with the Siberian stones. It's the one with the garden and houses nearby.

Well, wow. I'd like to hear more about this. Yes, from a distance they do look like natural rock formations, but up close, no.

From the linked webpage:
"no cultural remains have ever been found here"

So more than likely pareidolia, probably with some nationalism thrown on top for good measure.

Here's the Wikipedia article ...
