Has anybody heard this story? Perhaps it is the most scary story in the past 10 years. It is too complicated, and I am afraid that my English could not present it clearly and cogently.

Great, I will skim the link you sent to me and to look for any space for update tomorrow morning because I do not know is there any photo in this link. That photo was extremely shocking.

A few years ago, just at the juncture when the story was reported, I have read a few threads from a forum about supernatural events in China. And I have found a few photos about this case. Just a few minutes later, all photos were deleted and I have never seen those photos again consequently.

There are photos...!!!?

Looking forward to what else you might come up with.

If this is your first time post here, you have absolutely highlighted the essence of all our fascinations!

Be prepared for some massive feedback on this!

Separately, might I please enquire where you are posting from, seemingly China or... simply because it would be interesting to know!

:)

Yes, I am in China now so probably I know this story a bit more. If you search for such key words on google, I believe that you could find some. For another, in recent years, some have revealed more information about this event, so I could incorporate what they have presented later.
It seems that you have heard about the story, could you introduce your idea regarding this, such as the motivation of the culprit, and your idea about the ridiculous statement conveyed by the authority.

What a fascinating story - thank you for bringing it back to our attention.

Presumably you are referring to the, profoundly noticeable, discrepancies between this account and the police explanation.

"Kuang’s body was suspended by his wrists from a wooden beam with both hands and feet firmly bound with 12 knots each, skillfully and professionally tied. Between his feet dangled a weight. Apart from the unusual bonds, and a tiny pinhole on Kuang’s forehead...".

"Banan police [...] concluding within only a month that the death was an 'accident' that had occurred while the boy was playing a 'superstitious game.' They ruled out foul play".

The link you sent to me does not work because reddit and Quora have been double blocked in China. Even though I could unlock the general block, I could not read anything from the two websites above. So I could not discern what the link involves. But I believe that you can continue to examine this case if you r interested in it. Someone believe this case is one of the top mysteries in this century.

A shy loner of a child is forced to wear a dress and humiliated by a gang of other children. It goes too far and he dies. The other children flee the scene.
This seems to be remotely possible. Firstly, there appears not any clue which reflects this. Secondly, police concluded that the death of the boy was suicide and discontinued to examine it. Thirdly, the parents of the boy attempted to look for help from local administrator to investigate this event but were refused without any reason. So, according to existing information, this approach is remotely possible.
