Radiation's Health Effects (EM; RF; Nuclear; Mobile Tech; Etc.)

Difficult to discuss this without straying into the shark-infested waters of politics, so I post it here with no comment...

It's good. Nick has really been on form lately, I may not agree with everything he writes but he he is balanced in his approach.

I remember when (maybe) 3G was being introduced in Ireland and the SWP joined in with the loons those of us on the Libertarian Left scragged them.

Bunker of tins, arson, covered in foil but he was foiled in the end.

A conspiracy theorist broke into a locked compound and set fire to a transmitter because he thought it was harming him and his family.

David Patterson, 41, was so paranoid that the 5G mast was hurting him that he covered himself in foil and created a bunker out of tins in his kitchen.

He admitted burning the mast, which cost between £100,000 and £150,000 to replace, and causing £15,000 in damage to the garage underneath.

Prosecutor Alec Burns said the incident happened at Wardley Garage in Gateshead in the early hours of June 21 last year and that he thought he was ‘protecting his family and others, in reality, from harm’.

Defence solicitor Tony Davis said Patterson has been under the care of mental health services.

Speaking from the dock, Patterson said: ‘I know what I did was totally wrong. Conspiracy theories don’t apply to me no more. I am well aware my mind can’t take it.

‘I want to spend time with my lovely friends and lovely family now.’

Amazon continues to sell 'Anti-radiation' phone stickers.

"The listings remain eight months after scientists told the BBC the smartDOT stickers had "no effect"..... In January, as part of the BBC's investigation, the University of Surrey tested 4G mobile phones and wi-fi access points with and without the smartDOT stickers applied to them.
The researchers found no evidence of any effect, although Energydots said that measuring the "harmonising" effect of the stickers would require "biological testing...".

Hoist by their own petard.

People who wear “anti-5G” pendants to “protect” themselves from radio frequencies emitted by phone masts have been told by the Dutch nuclear authority that their necklaces are dangerously radioactive.

Owners of so-called “quantum pendants” and other “negative ion” jewellery have been advised to store them away as they have been found to continuously emit ionising radiation. The product alert was issued by the Dutch authority for nuclear safety and radiation protection (ANVS) in relation to 10 products.

“Exposure to ionising radiation can cause adverse health effects,” the safety agency said. “Due to the potential health risk they pose, these consumer products containing radioactive materials are therefore prohibited by law. Ionising radiation can damage tissue and DNA and can cause, for example, a red skin. Only low levels of radiation have been measured on these specific products. However, someone who wears a product of this kind for a prolonged period (a year, 24 hours a day) could expose themselves to a level of radiation that exceeds the stringent limit for skin exposure that applies in the Netherlands. To avoid any risk the ANVS calls on owners of such items not to wear them from now on.”
