At the moment it’s a real frog-throttler: the gutters are streaming. lt’s buggered my plans to cycle to the gym for a session.

Either pouring with rain, or just dull and overcast. Perfect weather for staying inside and watching murder mysteries on tv...

It's been so warm and sunny here that I 've been in the Bournemouth sea again this afternoon.
I thought I'd finished with all that for this year, so this was a real bonus.

The weather outside is frightful, not what I would call delightful.
It's 1 degree Celsius and snowing, for the first time this autumn.

I’ve got one of those weather reading tube things. It‘s supposed to tell me about cloud, rain and snow but I look at it upright in the morning and know there hasn’t been a major earthquake during the night so that’s £14.99 well spent.

First snow on the mountaintops in the north-east, and a marked drop in temperature this morning as the new wind does away with the last of the yellow leaves on the trees.

Monday, I woke up to snow on my car. Today, sunny, warm and quite windy. And by warm, I mean 15C.:dunno:

Scraping frost off of my car windscreen at 5 a.m and 5 hours later doing my delivery in shirt sleeves. Madness.

It's cold out there now!

I walked to the local convenience store for a bottle of red wine, about an hour ago. Lights were on but the door was locked.

They are normally open until ten but the lockdown has bitten again. I'll give the Stroganoff another day in marinade. :(

No,not me. I’m one of those people who don’t feel the cold that much. It’s hot work being a postman, it’s got to be cold for me to wear a jacket on delivery.
Most posties I see wear shorts and not full-length trousers, even in winter. Is there a reason for this?

I think they try and out do each other by wearing shorts all year round. I’ve noticed a lot of people now,not only posties, who wear shorts all year. It’s become a common sight in this country.
