Limmy is a Scottish comedian, who has had a few TV serieses.

One of his characters portrays a 'medium' - 'Raymond Day' - who might just be inspired by John Edwards.

Raymond's TV show is called, 'Paraside', which might also be a play on, 'parasite'.

There are several episodes on YouTube and wondered if the dark humour is maybe deserving of a mention...
