Thanks. I'm quite taken with the impressionist style in those images. It really works for me. More please, when you have time James. Very evoking. Re-viewing later when My Kids are back with their mother so I can really let the pieces mesmerise in peace and quiet.

Some kind soul has asked me to post some of my recent artistic endeavors, so here goes -

Here are some prints of photos I'm making into a sort of strange travelogue:

I'm now trying to learn how to make linocut prints, so here are some recent attempts. These are all tiny cards or envelopes or little paper bags.

I'm obviously not very good at it yet, so I've used regular ink to fill in or add details. I sort of like it that way, though. Each one is different

I'm considering what to put in the envelopes. Sigils, spells or charms? Maybe things like these little ghosts? Not sure yet.

Simply market them as 'hand-embellished original prints'. It's a really satisfying feeling carving out the lino, no? Someone tidied my tools away ages ago, I'm going to have to look for them now.

I had some pieces of plywood that I'd cut to various sizes last year and now seemed a good time to do some painting on one of them.
"In Times Like These, We All Need A Hobby." 30th March - 4th April 2020. 135x280mm. I'm only joking about the title btw.

So did Gilbert & George, according to the Guardian. It was very dull. I expected at least one rent-boy, some shit and some spunk.

Putting all those in the window is a bit avant-garde. Two out of three . . . I'll see what I can do . . . :pipe:

Where I live nearly every home has a window sign. A lot are done by children.

No rent-boys, shit or spunk but lots of hearts and rainbows with shaky 'THANK YOU NHS' lettering.

Your sign sounds more like a piece of performance art! We look forward to the Guardian review.

What with being on lockdown and all, I've been trying my hand at linocuts again. This is all very messy and experimental, but I guess that's the point. eh? ;)

I've also been making stickers. Thinking of putting a few into some of moonmen envelopes I posted upthread and selling them for a few bucks. Not sure yet. I think they would go well together, though.

I particularly like the new moon and gibbous moon prints. I think both are under-represented in art. :)

I have an interest in photography and am still learning. I went down to the prom in Morecambe tonight and took some photos of the sunset. I've included a couple that I personally like. I wondered if others may want to share stuff that they have created...
