Jesus: Truth Or Myth?

I was led to believe that the Dead Sea scrolls contain material closer to the real teachings of Christ, and that is the reason why many of them have been kept under wraps. Again, that was a long time ago and current thinking may have changed.

As I never tire of mentioning, most of the Scrolls-type artefacts 'discovered' since the 1950s have turned out to be forgeries.
This is one of the funniest facts I know.

That almost seems like a variation of Jesus' comment that what goes into a man doesn't defile him, but only what comes out (blasphemy, slander, incendiary words etc etc).

To me Steven, The less contact there has been with Church Councils and others, the more clear the message.

I remember hearing and reading that parable about what goes into the mouth and what comes out of the mouth as being confusing as...As a child I preferred a less ambiguous translation of what Jesus said.

In places, The N.H. scriptures supply that clarity.
