I add the following not only out of a desire for context, but with the hazy memory from Phantasms of the Living of a purported linked between the violence and emotional trauma of a death and the occurrence of psychic premonitions:

For the record, Ms Delcros's fiancé was Mr Xavier Thomas (aged 45), a French national in London on a sightseeing trip, who was crossing London Bridge on his way to dinner at the Shard with his partner when he was struck by the attackers' van and thrown into the Thames. At the moment he was hit he was speaking to his son Nicholas on his mobile phone.

His body was recovered near Limehouse, downstream of London Bridge, three days after the attack on Tuesday, 6 June at 7:44 p.m. by specialist marine officers. He was found to have died from immersion, which I take to be a combination of cold-shock and drowning.

Ms. Delcros herself was injured in the attack and now walks with a stick. Her testimony at the inquest was quite moving, even in text:

Ms Delcros said: "Suddenly I was under the impression there was a lot of light and a van that mounted the pavement in the exact fashion to
make sure they were not going to miss us.
"I just heard myself say to myself, 'that's how one dies, that's it'."
Crying, she went on: "I thought that I had died, that the curtain had fallen. To me I was dead. I said to myself that's how one dies and I have no recollection of the crash.
"It was only light when I woke up."
Asked by counsel for the coroner Jonathan Hough QC if she wanted to add to her evidence, she said: "I'm madly in love with Xavier."
Holly Jones was among those on the bridge at the time, but the van narrowly missed her.
She rushed to the aid of Ms Delcros.
Through tears, she recalled: I asked her name, told her she was going to be OK and she kept saying ‘where’s my boyfriend, where’s my boyfriend?’ and I said ‘I don’t know’.”
