And rightly so. OMFG some of those accents were thick. I "get" regional British accents but I "mondegreened" a couple of times during Trainspotting. I know that term mainly applies to lyrics, but you know what I mean.

Glaswegian is perhaps the most difficult of all British regional accents to understand. The fact that the film was so successful in spite of the language issue is unusual. Or maybe that made it more authentic, which made it so successful?

Humongous desired this icon and was relentless in his efforts to gain it.

When the compound was deserted, the remnant hid the hand in the back of the bus with the guzoline. They carried it forward to the Gap In The Earth, where the children of the remnant held it while they waited for their parents to return to them. Eventually, Aunty Entity wrested the hand from the Gyro Captain and rebuilt her Queendom out in the Verdant East after the destruction of Bartertown. She became the first Kaleesi of the Verdant East, and had the hand, by now withered by time, coated in iron and then gold. The thirtieth Kaleesi carried the hand to Westerosse whereupon a wicked and cunning Maester by the name of Qyburn stole the hand and passed it on to his apprentice, Jaime Lannister, as a replacement for his own right hand lost in battle. The hand was instrumental in the eventual defeat of the White Walkers, and it was taken to the Citadel of Oldtown, hidden in a wooden crate and buried among a maze of boxes in a massive warehouse, lost for good and all ... until a new bearer arose. The creature Gollum found the hand while seeking the tasty Fish of Destiny in Oldtown. He took the hand to Middle Earth and gained curious longevity. Bilbo Baggins stumbled upon the hand quite by accident whilst fumbling about under the white mountains of Middle Earth. The hand then passed to his nephew, Frodo, who dropped it in a volcano, losing a piece of his own hand for his efforts, whence it was destroyed and peace reigned forevermore.

Kundalini searched for many years to get his hand back, but to no avail. On his travels, he arrived in Mordor and heard about the destruction of his Precious hand, he threw himself into the lake of fire in despair and was rescued by a dark lord named Sidious. Sidious had him reconstructed mechanically and set him on the throne of power. Kundalini sought the essence of the hand, thought to be contained in a kyber crystal mined in the Dantooine mountains of the Coruscant System far from his homeworld of Earth in a galaxy far far away. Hence, he came upon a young farmboy, Luke Skywalker, who had been trained in the ways of The Hand by Kundalini's old master, Obiwan Kenobi. It was said that Skywalker was a direct descendant of the Toecutter, and the essence of The Hand was strong in him. Kundalini pursued this Skywalker across the galaxy until they confronted one another in a battle of good and evil in a cloudy city in the skies of Bespin. Kundalini said "Fuck this for a joke.", and cut off Luke's hand, taking it in lieu of his own. It was a good fit, and apt for wanking, but he often thought wistfully of his own hand on those cold lonely nights by the Halls of Justice.
