Magic and Evilness, the “Golumification” process of the magician.

Hi, will explain here some of the ideas i could find thinking around that question of something that is a perception between the people around the ocultist world, and even some cultural image of the magician as someone that turn his personality more and more violent, more dark.


That idea goes in contrast with the usual message on the written culture about occultism that exposes it as a kind of spiritual growth discipline. How is possible that someone that says to be spiritually growing to become more and more violent, more and more extremists in his opinions?


I thought about this ideas and i have arrived to a conclusions that are quite far from todays lines of thinking on ocultism, well i expose it for everybody to judge.


If we go far in yhe past we can see the kind of activities that nowadays are related whit magic as related with religions, not in one in particular but with many on a current of religious thinking called Misticism. If we read at the books of many ancient mistics we can recognice the structures and paths that are on other words described on magic traditions. But what change has been made to turn someone from the higest moral consideration to a deep moral degradation, someone would say well simply was an option. And yes, for many was an election. But I think that there is something more deep going on. Some kind of thecnical error that generates terrible consequences even on people that dont choose it.

Well the basic idea is that the practice of magic turns people into evil ones and that it happens ever, and for reasons related with the magic itself not by any set of ideas or belief

Risky afirmation ( as ever in the Cult of Toth). But think that could explain it in a way that is understandable, at least for the ones that have reached the espiritual levels on magic. And think that useful for the ones that are closer to reach it.

when a magician reaches the spiritual levels, a experience that in religion is refered as to have a mistic experience. There is a diference between the magic and the religious. The last trend in any religion to be trained to focus his atention on the wholeness. Is logic, if you are on presence of the wholeness who would like to focus on the parts, and still give to the partial a dominant role?But the magicians a lot of times still give priority to the part over the whole. That decision have Huge consequences. His soul starts a transformation that in some cases can be instantaneous, or take very few time. The ones that still get giving priority to the partial over the total start to turn evil and violent, get transformed from Smigol to Golum. Is the process of “Golumfication of the magician

Why it happens? In reality is a logical question. The souls that remain focused on the wholeness get his spiritual shape molded and conducted by the wholeness. Are like pieces of grass that the main flow of the river take floating on it's direction. But if you focus on the part, is that part, the one current were you get stiked to. As the wholeness is for definition only one, spirits that chose it trend to unity. But as the parts are many, spirits that chose it trend to stick Only with the ones of that partial view. That generates division and discord, and finally violence and oppression.

This process happens independently of the ideas of the magic practitioners, or even from their biological and psicological treads. In short time the process gets extended to all the lodge by the comunication at spititual level, that acts as a kind of virus infection wave.

So is by this way that we can see, that kind of extreme turns and changes of direcction that have been so tipical to the evolution of the magic lodges.

Some people apparently get into the occult and leadership positions because they want to be powerful, and their desire for power is a character flaw that by itself can lead them down dark paths.

That is true, think that have not been written a lot about the diference between black magic and magic...mmmm...less black, grey at least .
One diference uses to be that this kind of grey magic trend to be more interested on the knowledge part of magic, diving on the akasic not to change it but simply to get a wider vision. A more evil magician would be more interested on things like spells.
But akasic have it's risks too, for example, imagine that someone like Ted Bundy contacts whit you at the spiritual level, well, then you would start to become Ted Bundydesque yourself, as if you were infected with a kind of virus.
