Something gaseous spiralling up from underneath those floor tiles - notice how it is forming spiral swirls as it passes over the joints in the floor. Could be a bit of a concerning situation as to what exactly it is coming from below ground though!
 
Going back to Eddie Mallet, he's just posted this picture taken by him around ten years ago at Lawns Asylum in Lincoln ..

Okay, so here is a curious one. This is an old country house that used to be the retreat of the Tate & Lyle family and then became a hotel that has had decidedly mixed fortunes over the years and is now a B&B: https://thewhitepheasantnorfolk.co.uk/


I did not take this photo but two decades ago I worked there for a while as a relief manager after the management team quit:

When I saw this for the first time, something in the upper right corner caught my attention, so I took a screenshot for a closer look;

Appears to be a young (?) male in quite old fashioned clothing, especially the collar area, that there is something tied in knot at the waist and the odd way the trousers end before the boots. Then there is the pale 'haunted' face...? Doesn't look like a bar person's uniform or is a classic case of pareidolia?

The building doesn't have any ghosts attached to it and this image is not mentioned on the website.

It looks like a person, but it looks like the back of a person with long hair, stood looking the other way. Hard to make out the gender but if pushed I would say more likely female.

could it be a blonde person with tyheir back to us? Black pedal pushers. Reaching (off screen) up towards the right, with the weight on their right foot, hence the greater amount of ankle showing? That would make sense of the narrow waist ties as well, I think.

But as to it being "really" there or "not really" there. Oh my goodness!
 
Back view of a girl in a black jacket and leggings wearing socks with DMs or other similar boots over the top. Probably waiting for you to stop taking photographs before heading out to hoover the carpets (this is precisely the sort of clothing I wore when I was a cleaner).

Edited to add, pretty sure I can even see the ties of the apron she's got on around her waist.

I think you are correct, its a housekeeper's tabard with the low back collar that makes her look back to the front, oh well...!

It’s the woman who does the drinks and coffees. Looks like a coffee machine next to her and the glasses are a dead giveaway this is a drinks area of some sort. However, it could be the ghost of the Cumbrian Tea Lady.

This is why I tend to avoid the 'photos you really need to look at' thread. I can look at them for hours and not see what I'm meant to.
