Miscellaneous Ghost Photos & Videos

I was feeling very smug for being able to see the head and shoulders of a woman lying on her back and floating above at the top of the picture. Then when it was outlined I was looking at something completely different (or nearly). Which I think might mean paeidolia.

Interesting one on the Uncanny facebook group. I couldn’t see it at first. But when it was pointed out it was obvious. View attachment 87038View attachment 87040
The figure looks like a woman wearing a 1920s/30s style of bridal wear called a 'cap veil'.

I've had a look but can't find the exact photo online. I'm sure it's out there somewhere, or else tucked away in the poster's family album.

Here's one like it.

I know the style! Same sort of thing as Elizabeth Bowes Lyon in 1923

I’ve had a look too, with no joy. I’d say 1920s rather than 1930s.

I thought '20s too at first but the fashion went on for quite a time.
The cap worn by the ghost has a flat shape across the forehead whereas the one I showed is curved and possibly more ornate.

I'll dig out my very beautiful Welsh paternal grandmother's 1920s wedding photo, see how hers looked.

Here's an article about the bridge ghost photo I mentioned earlier.
It's a Liverpool John Moores University research paper.

The photo is near the bottom of the page. The image is exactly like that of a image of lady in a Philippines-type wedding outfit that someone else found to compare it to.
Identical, down to the last detail.
I have rifled the internet for the picture but got nowhere. :dunno:

Bridge Ghost Photo

Here is the bridge ghost image followed by a photo of a Filipina bride.

The second image is of a different lady. It's as close a pose as I can find to the photo we were shown alongside the bridge ghost one.
Frustratingly, I can't locate the exact picture. It was obviously faded down and blended into the bridge photo.

As I recall, the Filipina bride photo was shown as an example of what a bride would look like, to prove it was an apparition captured by the camera. To me it demonstrated just the opposite.

Why do we think it’s a Filipina bride? The example looks more flouncy. The ‘ghost’ looks more Edwardian or maybe 1930s to me.

We were shown the bridge ghost photo alongside a photo of a lady who the speaker stated was a Filipina bride.
My example is the closest I could find whereas the one we were shown was identical.

Bridge Ghost Photo
Is the pic the puti babae of filipino legends?A lot of provinces have puti babae (white lady) stories,i was told don't go out to the cemetery at midnight as the puti babae wanders,I went but saw nothing.

And then there is the massive hand coming up from bottom right..?

Is Bovington Tank Museum haunted by a Nazi Officer?

Well the idea that a corpse was found is laughable, just absurd. But:

Years ago i went out with a girl whose father had been based at Bovington and he told her that they had security guards in the museum and one morning they found the guard curled up in a ball and his hair had turned white. He claimed that he heard German voices yelling from inside Tiger 131 while on his night rounds.

Just a total myth apparently!
Hair cannot be turned white because of fright!

Also would it be that frightening to hear German voices yelling? Actually seeing the Germans then maybe, but just voices? I would immediately think I was being pranked by a hidden speaker/phone/voice recorder. If not, then just go and lock yourself in the office.
The tank was abandoned by the crew after minor damage. It's not as though they were blown to pieces inside the tank. Rumour had it that the crew were vilified by the tank corps afterwards and were shunned. Maybe the voices were complaining about their treatment post war?:)

There's a tank in Cambodia, just outside siem reap, old rusty blown up ruin, all the crew died, you can still see a few charred bones inside it,the locals told me it's haunted hence the reason the dead were left in situ.

They left it like that, since the 1970s?

But they didn't think that decently burying the dead might sort out the haunting?
