Has anyone heard from @Aydee_Aitchdee recently?
Well that's disappointing. I did enjoy her interactions. Hope that she is well. This member wrote a while ago to request that we delete their account and all of their content.
Obviously, we don't do that.
I advised then that their name had been mentioned on this thread and they might wish to contact those who have expressed curiosity.

Do we know what upset her that much?Well, she didn't reply to my last message and her last reply was rather blunt.
The chances seem against a return, but she'd be welcome.
I was wondering about that as well.Do we know what upset her that much?
I agree - so much nuance is lost in text, especially when we tend to be an ironic and sarcastic lot. Any upsets I've had with anyone have always been sorted out in a civilised fashion via pm. So many sentences can be taken in almost any way, (like 'I bet you have!' which could mean anything from extreme disbelief to absolute agreement) without inflection.I was wondering about that as well.
I once posted something about a reply to a posting of mine on the board by another member and he pm'd me apologising for 'upsetting me'. I was horrified that what I posted read that way. I didn't mean it like that at all. I pm'd him back offering my apologies as well for my lack of clarity about what I meant. All was resolved with civility by communicating properly.
My point is that sometimes what is posted and how it reads to others may not be the actual intentions of the poster.

No idea. He was pretty prolific (and articulate) then just upped and vanished.I'm usually in the archives, so have wondered whatever happened to Mark Bellis:
When did he last post? His profile is set to 'No Snails' or summat. No idea. He was pretty prolific (and articulate) then just upped and vanished.
Pure speculation on my part of course.Sadly, passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly at Ysbyty Gwynedd on the 16th January 2024, aged 56 years.
Loving son of Margaret and the late Eric, adored brother, and brother-in-law to Karen and Shaune, proud uncle to Molly and Chloe, cherished nephew to Eric and Arvona and friend to so many.
Funeral service will be held at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Friday 2nd February 2024 at 11.45am.

If he lived in Wales this might be him:

Another Mark Bellis of Dundee, NY died in September 2022.
Not him then. The only thing I recall is that he lived in Canada.

Maximum Min is the optimal Min.we need more Min not min Min
Min-reducing is trepidation-inducing.Minimal Min brings anxiety in.
