Missing In Action: Members Who've Gone Silent / Haven't Been Seen For Some Time

My Dad passed on last year, almost 96 years old, and one of my brothers told me that my Dad's computer kept crashing and he kept having the computer man come and take a look at it. It was always the same thing - he was on questionable porn sites that did something to his computer!
I can only imagine what they did with his computer once he was gone, probably dumped it at the nearest recycling facility. :)
I am my 88-year-old dad's computer 'expert' in the loosest sense of the word, and I've seen where he's been online. Nothing illegal but it's not what you ever want to see!!

It's really sad, because my Mum passed in 2014, and I know my Dad was missing her.
But every time I phoned him, he went on and on about wanting a woman -
I said, 'But don't tell me you can still do anything??'
His reply, 'I can try!'
Have to hand it to him at that age!! :)

I knew someone who was doing some work for a 96 year old. The old gent was still driving and was thinking of getting a new car. He told my friend that he'd decided on a Hyundai. That was because at that time it was the only one with a seven year guarantee.

My Dad was still driving at 95, until he had a stroke.
His grandfather in Poland lived to be 112 (or thereabouts, hard to remember now but it was around that age). He was a blacksmith and shod horses - he was shoeing a horse and a thunderstorm suddenly came up. The thunder scared the horse, and it turned around and bit his grandfather in the neck, which is what killed him.
