I have been analysing urban legends, campfire tales etc, regarding 'creatures' that fit into folk tales and spook stories, that appear more as mystery figures and bizarre hybrids rather than real creatures, i.e. Goatman, Jersey Devil, Bunnyman, Monkey Man, Zanzibar's one-eyed bat-like night visitor, etc, etc, and I would like to hear from any readers who know of other zooform beasts that may appear as nothing more than rumour, but that have scared the crap out of kids for years in the same way urban legends like THE HOOK and THE BABYSITTER have.
