Link is long dead. See later post for summary of what it was.

Riiiight.
Haven't watched it yet.

Okay, watched it.
It was funny.
I assume this is new, sorry if this is something old.

It's certainly more credible than most Moon-hoax evidence.

(I like the bit about Mr Gorsky, too. Adds a certain something.)

Nice find, Piscez.

I hereby retract everything I ever said on the "Moon Hoax" thread. I was obviously brainwashed into believing that it happened within my lifetime... :p

Jane.

New to the Boards, My first Post:) :hello:

Found the clip to be Funny

Onix, the site was very slow for me, so you could try to let the page load for a while.

If you still can't view it, the direct link to the video is here, and if you still can't get it working PM me and I can host the video and give you the URL :)

I can't open it. What's in it?

It's a QuickTime file so you'll need the appropriate plug-in to view it. This is downloadable for free from cnn, apple and dozens of other sites. Believe me, it's worth it :p

No Problem. I sure that there are others surnamed " Mc Donald"

I'm still the only "me" that I know.:)

Its an obvious joke. Not supposed to be believable. I mean, it references an urban legend/joke.http://www.snopes.com/quotes/mrgorsky.htm
No, no, no! It's completely different. In the UL, he said "Good luck, Mr Gorsky." In the clip he says, quite clearly, "Sorry Mr Gorsky." Proof positive that he wasn't actually on the moon, which is why he was sorry Mr Gorsky would miss out.

It is indeed! I can just imagine what will happen if it turns to be true. I am pretty sure it isn't by the way.

The moontruth.com site was a parody, and the video was a hoax.
Moontruth.com was a website spoofing the Moon landing hoax conspiracy theory. Its main feature was a short video clip purported to be an outtake from the filming of Neil Armstrong's first steps on the lunar surface.

The original video can be seen at the RationalWiki link above.

The moontruth.com site was eventually abandoned when the owners tired of maintaining it. The legacy webpage explaining the hoax is not directly accessible nowadays because of domain name squatters.

However, an archived copy of the final legacy page can be accessed via the Wayback Machine:
