My teenage son just returned from the Dungeons And Dragons club at school. Was shocked to find they had such a thing. Makes this town seem almost progressive. Last place we lived, the townsfolk would have run them out with torches and pitchforks!

Only in respect they might be Mrs Godzilla's lady parts. Monster scaly pubic hair anyone?

Although I do have a radish that looks like Mothra.
Looks like an opportunity to swede a movie. Just get a coconut for Kong and a sprout for Baby Godzilla. My camera can make stop-motion films if it helps, although that's nearly interesting.

Escargot,

.. Schrodinger might both approve and not approve...

Until making up his mind. Then the wave function will collapse and the decision made.

Meanwhile, Tegmark will insist that this also created a spin-off universe in which Schrodinger made the other decision.

Tricky blighters, these theoretical physicists.

In a town awash in Chick Tracts, it's always 1983.

ETA - a friend of ours opened a new age shop there and every morning he'd have to clear away the load of Chick Tracts that had accumulated on the doorstep every night. :p

They have changed the lights in our street. We live now in a fake, silvery world after dark. Nicer than the bilious world of Old Sodium's rule? I'm making up my mind.

Opened a pack of Quorn Mini Sausage Rolls, expecting from the name to be faced with six 'mini' sausage rolls, but was instead faced with three sausage rolls, each sausage roll is about 11cm / 4.5 inches long.

The pack consists of three 11 cm sausage rolls, but the small-print cooking instructions includes "Cut into 4 and serve".
I love the fact that you've measured them but if they were 12 cm it would be much easier to divide by 4. Less than 3cm is really mini for a sausage roll.

There's three notches in them, which I guess means cut here, and the central notches are an inch / 2.5ish centimetres apart. We are now entering micro rather than mini sausage roll territory.

I'm not a vegetarian although we eat a lot of veggie and vegan stuff, but I haven't touched a sausage since finding a bit of tooth in one.

I want a sausage making kit from Lakeland.

..Quorn Mini Sausage Rolls..

Doesn't a 'sausage' require a minimum percentage of meat ? . EU law. If so, how do Quorn get around this ?

I think its ok if you don't call it a certain type of sausage, eg: Cumberland, Chorizo, Kabonosi. Certain named types have to be made in a special way.

Aimed at the 'I'm thick as a brick and can't work out how to cut a sausage into four' market.

Still snowing here. The news says don’t go out and the temperature is going to be about -3. I know! In December at that!

How did we ever survive as a civilisation?
