Offerings In Leicester River

We did have a thread on engraved cubes thrown into local rivers as offerings.
Sounds like the same sort of thing to me.

Thanks for that, an interesting article, i just wish the items in the 'offerings' had markings or writings that could make them as easily identifiable, im well aware of the connection of water to offerings to dieties going back to the Romans and beyond, im just interested to know what these particular 'offerings' mean.
